Throughout my life, I went to many places, whether it is from traveling to the different
country or the states, but the journey that stood out the most was my trip to India. For me, this
trip stood out because I traveled out of the country. My experience in India was something that I
will never forget because it teaches me the reality of the world we are living in, opening my eye
to how big the world is. This journey started ten years ago when I was just eight years old when I
was going to India the second time, the first being when I was just two years old. I was coming
back from school, overhearing the conversation my mother had with someone on the phone. At
the moment, I did not have an idea of what was going on, so I

there I was only two years old. So, I did not remember a lot of what happened when I was in
India. A week later, it was the beginning of Christmas break and me, my sister and mother were
packing to go to India. Then, we went to the airport and took the international flight to India, and
this is where my adventure has begun.
A couple of days have passed, and we arrived at the India airport, I was happy that long flight
was over because of the bad seats and food in the airplane. The plane did not provide a much of a
service, and we had multiple stops, so it made my time in the international airplane not
memorable at all. However, that all went away because when I got off the airport, I understood
that I was in India, this idea in my mind made me forgot about my horrible experience at the
plane. When I came out of the plane, I met my family in India it was a touching reunion, we
were getting to know each other. The family member I began to talk to was my cousin it started
off as introducing each other, then it went to talking about soccer. After I had talked to my
family, me, my sister and mother went to my grandmother’s house to stay over during

After, I finish eating I went outside with my mother, and she showed
me around the area where my grandmother’s live. It did not have many houses and store; it was
so different because this is not how the life in Atlanta is like, the expectation in India is shown to
be different than Atlanta. The life in India was a little different when I went to the area where my
grandmother lived because the kids were able to go anywhere they want and the parents would
be too busy. At the moment I did not realize what was going on. Instead, I was to focus on going
to places popular in India.
The next day, I took a tour to Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Gujarat, which is a state in
India. First, we went to Ahmedabad a famous city in Gujarat, where my family comes. There I
went to Gujarat zoo, it had many different types of animal, that the Atlanta zoo does not have.
During, my time at the zoo I was able to meet with many animals, and we took many photos with
animals. The zoo in Gujarat had many varieties of animals that we did not have at the

Experiences of journeys provide insights into the lives of individuals and the world around them
Life sets out many pathways to decide your future. It can give you experiences and certain experiences in your life can impact you a lot. Today I’m going to talk about how moving to America has impacted me is that the fact that the American culture has changed me completely. One obvious reason American culture has changed me is the fact that I am speaking English right now. Learning English took me awhile even tho I’m still not fluent in it.

At the age of 8, my family moved to Dallas, Texas because my father got a job there. My little brother started kindergarten, and we lived there for 2 years, and moved again to Montreal, Canada, when I was going into 5th grade. I had to take one French class because it was the second language of Quebec, a state in Canada where Montreal was located in. But it was fascinating to learn a new language other than my mother language and English. I spent 2 years in Montreal, and then finally in 7th grade, I moved to Denver, Colorado. I had to move from different places and schools, which partially was a disruption to my education and partially not because I learned the different cultures that exists in just two different countries, located in the same continent.
A few cool facts I found on the zoos website about its animals are that it was only the seventh zoo in the world to have twin gorillas born in 1999. It is one of only six zoos in the US to exhibit Indo Chinese sika deer. They also have the most diverse collection of cats, both large and small, in the region. We’re pretty lucky to have a zoo with so much to offer in our

Although its origins may have come from a fascination of exotic animals, throughout the years, zoos have constantly evolved and improved beyond their early predecessors; however, it has always involved the process of scientific inquiry. Today’s modern day zoo does not merely exist for entertainment value, even though many guests may initially visit with amusement in mind, most walk away with a greater knowledge of wildlife and the current issues they are facing within our environment. Zoos serve as an ambassador for wildlife through constant protection, rehabilitation, and conservation efforts.
Over the past 4,000 years zoos have significantly improved. The old cement cages and steel-bar enclosures have been removed. When going to zoos now-a-days you will notice a much more natural-looking environment with barriers that resemble ditches which separate animals from people. The animals are kept in mini-habitats that have the same qualities and appearance as their natural habitat. Another positive thing about...

Taking that flight was nothing like the flights I’ve taken before. I had just recently celebrated my fourteenth birthday a week before being told that we were taking a trip.
