Simple Steps on to Be Loyal
Loyalty is one of the traits that people generally say is important to them in relationships, be it romantic, friendship, business, or otherwise. Yet some of us don’t make it a priority or give that quality enough credit. Also, loyalty is most of the time the basis of these other concepts. Without the presence of loyalty a strong relativity can never be built. Other than emotional relativities, loyalty is valid for many other areas, as well. However, loyalty is a multi-valued concept. “Can be true to his word, the words said, to a loved one.” - Veronica Roth, Allegiant. Indeed, the meaning of this word is one infinite devotion beyond other factors. Loyalty should be manifested in relation to everything. There are

True friendship remains strong and unbreakable despite time and trials. Friendly relations are based on trust and mutual assistance, therefore exclude selfish motives and betrayal. However, life often puts a person in front of a difficult choice, in which only a few choose the right way, while others - fall victims of mistakes, and can commit treason, betraying the best feelings including comradely affection. Also, being a friend to someone means they have my full support, not exchange for something in return, but for the simplicity of seeing them happy. For example, if my friend needs a ride to school because her car broke down, they know they have my support for a ride to school and for money to help fix their car if needed. In addition, if my friend has doubts on whether they should date someone, or whether they should take a certain job, I will give them my honest opinion with meaningful reasons to make my thoughts more validating. Also, I'm trying to trust my friends until they give me a reason not to. If a reason is given, I will try to fix what's broken. If there is no possibility of mending our friendship, I will slowly distance myself from them. However, if they try to keep our friendship alive, it will be a true indication that our friendship is worthwhile, if they don't, they probably didn't think it was worth
Loyalty in Sir Gawain and the Green Knight, The Odyssey by Homer and Don Quixote by Cervantes
A very obvious example of loyalty is, Penelope. She is faithful to Odysseus for over 20 years and does not give up for long time. Even when the suitors came to her house and ate her food and overstayed their welcome she did not budge and still stayed faithful to Odysseus for the whole time he was gone. She told the suitors that when she finished her tapestry she would choose who she wants to marry, but every night she would undo a piece of the tapestry just so it would take longer and it would give Odysseus more time to come back just so she would not have to choose one of the suitors.
Is loyalty important to everyone? How important to you? Does it affect your friendships? In Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini loyalty is one of the themes that is explored, it is shown three times through the phrase “For you a thousand times over”. “For you a thousand times over” is said three times, once Hassan to Amir, Farid to Amir, and then finally Amir to Sohrab. Each time this is said it represents a loyalty and who the loyalty is towards
Loyalty is like glue, since it keeps the camaraderie in a relationship intact. If someone breaks the loyalty, then that trust and camaraderie are damaged as well. But yet, one can remain loyal without sacrificing one’s needs or desires. Examples of this have often appeared in modern day literature. For example, take the Tillerman siblings from Cynthia Voigt’s novel, “Homecoming.” In this novel, the oldest sibling, Dicey, has to take care of her three younger siblings after their mother deserted them in a mall parking lot. In addition, Dicey has to lead her siblings to her aunt’s home in Bridgeport, Connecticut, which is well over 60 miles away. At the beginning of the book, I believed that Dicey had to sacrifice everything she loved to keep her siblings close and together. But, as the novel goes on, you see that Dicey did not have to give up as much, since the one thing Dicey treasured the most was her family. Sure, they did make her mad and annoyed at times, but she loved them, and all she wanted was to keep them safe. Her love is what made her so allegiant toward getting to Aunt Cilla’s home. A similar situation applied for the siblings. Sammy, the youngest child, was a real, “mama’s boy.” You can tell that when their mother left them, he was the child that was in denial for a while. “Go on, because nobody cares about me except Momma, and Momma will come find me but she won’t find you, so you ahead (Pg 41).” But eventually Sammy finally admitted that Momma was gone, and that made his loyalty to Dicey even stronger. He fished, cared, and even stole so his family would be safe. In this example, loyalty kept the Tillerman siblings close together. But, even in a more futuristic, fictional story, this concept exists.
Loyalty can be expressed in many ways whether it be by doing anything for someone else or just being very trustworthy person overall.
From the bedtime stories parents read to their children when they are going to bed, to the books students ready in high school, or the books adults ready have one most common element friendship. The history in the American literature three were many books, essays and songs about great friendships some are still famous and some are lost, in the era where people become friends by following each other on Instagram or sending request on Facebook. Mostly all persons on earth have a best friend and people say that it is hard to fine because a best friend should be some on whom you can always count on and that a person always count on you too. Sometimes having right person as your friends can help you but at the same time if you are in companionship of a bad person it can hurt you too. Who is the bad person and who is the good person is totally up to the person’s personal choice?
There are different kinds of friendship, ones that bring about certain goods for each other such as men of business or of some type of exchange. There also exists a state of friendship where pleasure is given, that in this state what is being given are pleasurable things and that each loves what is being given and as such continuous until such qualities cease to come
Following a rule and believing in something are two different things, and something I strongly believe in is loyalty. Loyal to yourself, loyalty your beliefs, and most of all, loyalty to your friends are important. The kind of loyalty where your friend and yourself told each other you would be friends forever, and you keep that promise. But, I have had a personal experience with friends “stabbing me in the back”, and that is was makes this belief so important. I had a best friend since second grade. We did everything together from creating an Instagram account about both of us to dancing side by side together. We kept each other's secrets and had each other’s backs. No matter who came into our lives, we always had each other and nothing could
I would define friendship as complete trust and love between two people. Many people believe that this kind of behavior is reciprocated between two individuals without any expectations. A friend is someone who also provides you with support and whom you can rely on to celebrate special moments with. A friend also comes with many great attributes; such as loyalty, honesty, compassion, trust, and morality. Today’s friend is viewed as someone who shares happiness, common values, history, and equality with another. For example, Aristotle and Cicero both wrote dialogues about friendship and its significance on mankind. Therefore, the key issues that will be discussed are: their views on the similarities of friendship, the differences between friends,

Throughout the year, there have been multiple values portrayed throughout the numerous characters we have read about. Out of the many values, loyalty has been the most expressed. Loyalty has also been a value that supports and expands the story's theme. As an example, Of Mice and Men has a theme of how strength and opportunity can change a person, not always for the good. Therfore because Lennie is loyal to George, the amount of power and opportunities that George gains puts him in a rough situation, changing him for better or worse. The three main characters that showed the most loyalty are Boxer, Lennie, and Antigone. Each character distinguishes loyalty at different times and in different ways, however these characters are best defined as loyal.
Loyalty is one of the only things that can hold the bonds of family and friends.
Loyalty is defined as a strong feeling of support or allegiance. I agree fully with this definition. Being loyal is one of the most important of th...
There are many valuable things in life like family, sports, school but what about friendship? To live life without friendship is something no one should ever go through. Friendship is a necessity to living a successful life. Friendship occurs when someone is a supporter, gives assistance, and is attached to someone all the while genuinely taking care of them when they are hurt (The definition of friend, 1995-2002). A good and healthy friendship can be defined fro individuals as when someone has his or her own support system, a friend being loyal, and will always have genuine and mutual trust.
One of the most important details in a friendship is to never leave or forsake the other. A friend is also loyal, for example in the movie Lord of the Rings, Froto and Sam Wise had a wonderful fellowship. They lived in peace and in one accord. Also in the movie, gandalf sent froto on a mission. Froto was scared and he didn’t want to go on the journey by himself.
