The root of journalism comes from the activity of gathering, assessing, creating, and presenting news and information. The term ethics means set of values or standard but when this term is linked with journalism then it means conveying truth to the general public through the news and magazine. There is the system of checks and balances within the government. The journalist job is to keep all branches of the government in check by giving the public the truth. While doing these they should be guided by some moral principle. The first and foremost thing for the journalist is to give the correct data without misinterpretation.
