ABSTRACT
A Four wheel steering system also known as Quadra steering system. In this paper, both front wheel and rear wheels can be steered according to speed other vehicle and space available for turning. Quadra steer gives full size vehicle greater ease while driving at low speed, improves stability, handling and control at higher speed
It makes the car more efficient and stable on cornering, easier and safer lanes change when on motorways. The main aim is that turning of the vehicle should not require greater efforts on the part of the driver. It improves handling and helps the vehicle make tighter turns. This system is used to minimize the turning radius.
INTRODUCTION
The basic aim of steering is to ensure that the wheels are pointing in the desired directions. The steering system allows the driver to guide the moving vehicle on the road and turn it right or left as desired.
The steering box converts the rotary motion of the steering wheel, to the linear motion needed to steer the vehicle. It also gives the driver a mechanical advantage. The linear motion from the steering box is then transferred by tie-rods, to the steering arms

The steering ratio, is the amount of degrees you have to turn the steering wheel, for the wheels to turn an amount of degrees. In motorcycles and bicycles, the steering ratio is always 1:1, because the steering wheel will always follow the wheel. x:y means that you have turn the steering wheel x degree(s), for the wheel(s) to turn y degree(s). In most passenger cars, the ratio is between 12:1 and 20:1. Example: If one complete turn of the steering wheel, 360 degrees, causes the wheels to turn 24 degrees, the ratio is then 360:24 = 15:1 (360/24=15). Figure 6.1.1 Steering Ratio Graph A higher steering ratio means that you have to turn the steering wheel more, to get the wheels turning, but it will be easier to turn the steering wheel. A lower steering ratio means that you have to turn the steering wheel less, to get the wheels
The purpose is to drive more, it is not important to compete with cars, it is not important to win, it is important to be on the road.
Driving has been around for just over 100 years, but the first thoughts of physics has been around since 400 BC (to be edited ). Driving safety implications have been discussed and improved over the decades as technology begins to leap ahead of its time. According to physician; Newton, there are three laws of motion that is now used in everyday life to try and help prevent deaths due to driving implications. The first law is “An object at rest will remain at rest unless acted upon on by an unbalanced force.” The object, or Car is in motion continues its motion with the same speed and in the same direction unless acted upon by an unbalanced force. The second law is “Acceleration is produced when a force acts on a mass.” While the third Law of Motion is : “ For every action there is an equal and opposite re-action.This means that for every force there is a reaction force that is equal in size, but opposite in direction.”
While hearing impaired drivers may face challenges in hearing the sounds necessity when driving, modern technology can aid in enhancing their other abilities through the design of various modules that can be incorporated into a vehicle. These challenges are vast, including difficulty raised in communicating with officers when pulled over to the diminished awareness of the driver of his or her surrounding environment, not being able to hear what is going on, increasing their chance of accidents. The module I suppose is a removable vibrating steering wheel that will enhance the touch sense of humans, tactioception, in place of hearing.

A push pull rod connected to the elevator control lever mounted under the floor of the cockpit transfers the movement of the control column. The cables running along the right hand side of the fuselage, under the floor of the cabin transmit the movement to the elevator control quadrant
Good stability and handling is achieved with a combination of suspension, steering, acceleration, brakes and weight distribution.
Need for Cruise Control .Reduce the risk of accidents, .Improve safety, .Increase capacity, .Reduce fuel consumption .Enhance overall comfort and performance for drivers. Adaptive Cruise Control .Autonomous cruise control is an optional cruise control system for road vehicles that automatically adjusts the vehicle speed to maintain a safe distance from vehicles ahead.
To steer left or right simply lean in that direction. When the Segway was first unveiled in 2001 it was the first ever self balancing electric vehicle. To remain upright the segway uses five gyroscopes, a built in computer, and tilt sensors which monitor the users center of gravity 100 times every second! For the record, a gyroscope is a device consisting of a wheel or disk mounted so that it can spin rapidly on an axis that is itself free to alter in direction. The segway has such good balance that it doesn’t even use brakes, in fact when you lean back it just slows down and eventually comes to a complete stop.
...front and rear differentials. Taking this into consideration, all wheel drive systems are almost always on full time. In order for all wheel drive to work, a specialized computer and a matching set of sensors is needed to tell which wheels are spinning and to which wheels the power should be transferred to. The change is done through a series of automatic wheel braking, adding another complicated and costly mechanism to the brakes system. For this reason all wheel drive systems were usually only used in vehicles like Mercedes and Porches. Lately, though, due to the advances in manufacturing technology, there have been a few domestic vehicles released, like the newer Ford Explorers and the Saab 9-2X, both of which feature all wheel drive. Should the cost of production of all wheel drive systems continue to decrease, more domestic vehicles will feature it in the future.
Brakes may be one of the most essential inventions in the developments of automobiles. Clearly, nothing can surpass the breakthrough of the wheel, but the brake system was a catalyst to the further developments of cars. The brake system has also evolved greatly throughout the years. Once considered one of the simplest parts of a vehicle, brakes have become one of the most complicated components in a vehicle. The scientific explanation behind a brake system is very rudimentary. Friction permits the concept of braking to occur.
In a society much like today 's, driving has become one of the most essential ways of transportation. In some major cities, people may not drive themselves but rather take a bus or a train. Both of which have a driver though who drives a motor vehicle and encounters traffic and struggle while on the road, Also in today 's society, technology has increased so much that many features of driving or being in a car require hands off the wheel ways to change the settings. For example, to turn or the seat warmers or even coolers, a driver must take one or both hands off the wheel, track the motion of their hands with their eyes and then push the correct button. In some cases, the button may not work which would prolong the time of hands off the wheel
Now cars aren’t just a way to get around anymore. They are part of a person. The car helps people by the car being a way that the person expresses themselves. Also it cars represent who a person is. If the person a muscle car lover, import lover, or a truck lover. It also turns into a way to help with work. So now the automobile is used in a way to represent a person or a working tool that helps people in everyday jobs.
2. Vibration in the steering wheel – A problem in the steering assembly can be attributed to a bad wheel bearing. You can easily notice this when you are driving at a slow pace and as your speed increases, the vibration becomes more

Learning to master driving a manual transmission car has taught me that safe driving is the best driving. When driving stick shift you are constantly moving, looking, listening, and thinking. Learning to balance all this helps you realize how dangerous it is driving stick shift. At any given moment you can be in danger and now you have to add the danger to your already overwhelmed mind. There are many components in learning to drive stick shift but the experience as a whole is worth
