In our increasingly interconnected world, we often find ourselves interacting with people from a wide variety of cultures and languages. Naturally, it is becoming more and more important to be able to communicate in more than one language as a result. I often regret that I can not learn to speak a second or even third language in childhood. Fortunately, it is never too late to begin learning another language.
There are many ways learn a foreign language easily while having fun. Doing the things you like, such as travelling, watching TV or a movie, or maybe reading a celebrities’ gossip magazine, can be really helpful to gain that foreign language understanding and improve your skill level. One of the first things, I did ,was to find nice English music. In my childhood my mum has taught me the songs of Nancy Stewart. And now there are some popular singers known widely like Rihanna,Adele, Beyonce, Taylor Swift, Chris Brown, Bruno Mars ,Katy Perry. They have discs which are really easy to follow.It really helps to find the lyrics of the English (or any other foreign language) songs and try to read them while the songs are playing to learn how the words are spelled and pronounced correctly. Language can do a lot for your CV (the story of your life) and open up international business opportunities you never knew .After English, it is French, Spanish or even Chinese that you should be learning for career advancement.In the USA , Spanish is the second most spoken language after English.     Learning a language is quite possibly one of the most difficult and time- consuming endeavors a person could ever undertake. Therefore, it comes as no surprise, that a limited number of second languages are taught in schools across the western world, and languages are sometimes failed to be passed on to children growing up in a different country than their parents did.
