A school bus with the kids is a breeding place of chaos and bullying behaviours if not monitored properly. School authorities take strict measures to control and maintain discipline the students in the school bus in various ways.
Physical punishment is unethical, ruled out and hence the need for a conscious effort to engage students and making them responsible for their own action sounds more apt for maintaining discipline.

It is also important to check the credentials of the school bus staff to ensure safety of children. A disciplined staff can handle the discipline issue among children while on the school bus with ease.
3. Display the rules of safety and discipline on the school bus
It is also important to exhibit the rules and regulations concerning school bus safety and discipline at a proper place inside the school bus for the students to read and understand well. Emergency numbers for contact and procedure should also be displayed properly. Visual representations to instil the safety and discipline measures are also a tried and proven method to inculcate discipline among students while on the school bus.
4. Give attention to entry and exit points
Children should form a queue while at the bus stop to enter the bus and also while exiting the bus. Rushing and shoving one another should be avoided at all costs. School bus staff should also allocate sufficient time for the kids to board/ exit the bus. This will avoid unnecessary rush and hassles. Also allow the younger children to board the bus first. While exiting, it is advisable to allow the older children first, since they can handle any emergency issues better. Smaller children need a helping hand and the attender should always attend to their needs. Special children should also be allowed to enter/ exit the bus with proper assistance and
Every school bus has a hierarchy, a caste system. The cool crowd the kids who smoke, come to class with hickies, and get into enough trouble to be the secret envy of the honor roll students occupies the back rows. The cheerleaders and star athletes take the middle seats. The serious students sit near the front. The nerds and the outcasts never know where they'll end up. If they're lucky, they can find an empty seat directly behind or to the right of the driver. (8)
Players can ride the bus so it is easier for them to get to games. Also the players can talk and have fun on the bus. Because they can talk it will bring the stress away so they don’t have to worry about the game. Parents don't have to worry about their kid being late ether.
After getting off the bus people will be assigned clothes and other papers will be filled out for people’s classes, yes classes. They teach people some aspects of what people might be doing. Also
The Education and Inspection Act 2006 states that school must have measures in place to prevent all forms of bullying and all these measures should be communicated to staff, children and parents.
...on immediately the best response is to not respond. A response will only prompt a more violent action, and more bullying more often. Also, the victim should remove himself or herself from the situation as much as possible. If the victim is being bullied on the school bus, move to the front, where it is impossible for the driver to ignore the bully’s actions. Avoiding places where adults are not present is a victims best bet to stay out of harms way. Most bullies think their victims are weak and afraid, studies show most victims are not weak; they simply are more thoughtful and considerate than others.
...here they need to go. This makes kids late, the times ranging from forty five minutes to two hours, if the bus comes at all. All of these are major concerns, the interference with summer plans, the length of our summer, and the conditions of the roads, are significant concerns.
Not only did I have to undergo the attention as the “new” kid, but I also had to brave the worst beast of all time...The Bus. Ahhh, The Bus. Created for the purpose of transporting children to and from school, it has evolved over time to become the monstrosity that it is today. This vehicle of crushed dreams was my vessel to the faraway place that would chew me up and spit me out. It pulled into my driveway with an ominous screech, black smoke billowing out which shifted to form the faces of all the poor, unfortunate souls

I can guarantee that punishment is not the answer. Punishment is a suggestion made by reformers (Postman, 311), but it is the absolute worst decision that can be made in our schools. When students get out of school suspension (OSS), they treat it as a vacation day and most of them use it to play video games, and they still get to make up the work they missed. A countless amount of kids in my high school did exactly that. On another side of that, punishment is giving a student attention. Not a great kind of attention, but attention nonetheless. If a student really wants attention, it won’t matter to them what kind. If something is awry in the classroom, it should be ignored. Usually in situations where students are causing a disturbance, it is because they crave the attention. Punishing them is falling right into their
The first tier and arguably the most important is the students. Students should have an expectation of how to treat others and feel comfortable telling a teacher if there is a situation they need help with. Teachers should look out for early signs of bullying and think of an effective strategy to stop it. Personally, I believe that ‘team-based’ learning is the most effective method of reducing bullying. By creating a team atmosphere, students should be more encouraged to work together and give each other support to achieve a common goal. Offering incentives for everyone to perform well could distract students who are likely to bully their classmates. Next, administrators carry the important task of monitor student behavior trends and implement school policies to combat bullying. My suggestion for administrative policy against bullying is the ‘zero-tolerance’ method. Bullying in any form is unacceptable and should not be allowed on school
Thousands of people are affected by the lack of school safety in schools across the nation. Students everywhere are attending schools that are more dangerous than expected. This is a growing concern everywhere, and schools need to improve, or else they are prone to being unsafe. Whether it is building, drill, concussion, social, or technology safety, schools need to improve to lower the risk of an incident.
Children should be ensured of a safe learning environment as school is the place where they spend most of their day. Well disciplined schools emphasize on the importance of learning and intolerance of conditions which ...
...e problem worse. So make sure to let the students know what they are doing is wrong, why it’s wrong, and get involved. Next set clear definition of bullying and enforce rules and expectations. This lets the students know what behavior is expected and sets the tone for the classroom. On top of these, it is also important to reward positive behavior, have open communication, engage parents, look for warning signs, clear the scene, monitor hot spots, and most importantly know your states laws and district policies.
These days, school safety is one of the most important parts of running a good school. So how can we make our school, safer and a better school overall?
Shirley: I agree with that. But do you think the corporal punishment can help students to study hard?
