AN AUDITION REQUIREMENT.

Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of us all?
Or should I ask who is the best actor of us all? A question asked when one has to go for an audition. This and many more questions race through our minds as one gets ready to play the part that no man has ever played before. So ready steady and here we go to do our best in the audition we have been called for.
Let’s go though the bucket list of things to remember before going for an audition.

The moment your name is announced you become the center of attention. Your entry into the audition room might make you or break you. Always remember too much or too little of anything is not good. Too much of over confidence or lack of confidence creates doubts in the mind of your watchers. Therefore, remember the impression you make when you enter the room will be the focal point of your career.

Rule number 3. If you want to be chosen for the role then you have to prove to the director that you can act. Remember that by copying or by mimicking others you will not be able to get the role. You have to stand out from the crowd and this you can do by acting the given role in a way that proves that you and you alone can act this role in this possible way. Put your feelings into your performance and make a point.

Rule number 6. There is no place on the stage to thank you and sorry. Always remember that it is human to err and it is also human to cover up for the mistake you have made. Don’t let the audience realize where you went wrong, cover it up with a good mantle of acting. A person can do this only if one has confidence and has done one's research well. Never apologize for what went wrong, no need for tears and lengthy explanations. Leave it as it is. Do your homework well next time.
