To begin, Imperialism is the policy and the practice of exploiting nations and peoples for the benefit of imperial power either directly through military occupation and colonial rule or indirectly through economic domination of resources and remarks. On the other hand, Progressivism is a broad philosophy based on the ideas of Progress, which asserts that advancement in science, technology, economic development, and social organization are vital to improve the human condition. These two subjects tie together because they both had a similar thought pattern. They both wanted to make the world a bigger and better place by becoming stronger.
