This paper aims to provide a discussion on a social problem that is relevant in today’s society. Chosen for discussion, the study will attempt to determine whether illegal immigration is a social problem. Illegal immigration is defined as the relocation of people across national frontiers in a way that disrupts the immigration laws of a stated country. In America for instance, the number of illegal immigrants has reached a high of approximately 11.2 million in 2012.
