Illegal Immigration Infestation in the United States

This year in the United States, thousands of undocumented illegal immigrants entered the United States. “Argument against undocumented immigration is that local, state, and federal governments are burdened with increased costs through their utilization of educational and social systems such as primary and secondary education, health care programs, emergency rooms, welfare, and other anti-poverty programs to which they do not contribute through taxes (Beccera).” Financially strained social services funds are being spent on illegal immigrants, overcrowded schools are filled with undocumented children, and illegal immigrants take majority of low wage jobs. Something has to be done to remedy these problems in Texas.
Billions of taxpayer dollars, my taxes that I work fifty hours a week to pay for are being spent on the same illegal immigrants that I work fifty hours a week to apprehend and deter from entering the United States. If Texas wants to waste taxpayer dollars, Texas needs to waste taxpayer dollars on programs beneficial to those that pay taxes. SNAP, WIC, and Medicaid are social services that are there to help those in need. A prime example of using social services properly is a mother that loses her job and can’t provide food for her family. WIC and SNAP can supplement the mother’s income to buy groceries to feed her family. The lost of health insurance can be supplemented by Medicaid. Social services are made to be a temporary fix to get families back on their feet. Illegal immigrants are establishing themselves in the United States and using social services as a means to live off instead of pulling themselves out of poverty. Texas needs to change this, and by change I mean Texas needs to grow some testicular fortitude and ...

...l immigration. We don’t care about how much revenue is generated; we care about how illegal immigration is sucking the life out of employment. Without low paying jobs available, unskilled workers are unable to work, to provide for their families, and are left to collect unemployment.
While revenue generated by illegal immigrants help support the federal, state and local governments coffers. The overall costs associated with illegal immigrants and the negative impact it has on social services, education, and unemployment are detrimental to our economy. If Texas doesn’t take a stand against illegal immigration, illegal immigration is going force the Texas economy dry.
