I think children of illegal immigrants should have the right of going to school like the other children in America. I think they should have the right to education because if they to America with their family when they were a baby small child they didn't have the choice to leave or stay that was up to their parents. The child also probably didn't know what was happening when they left their home. The reason I think they should be able to go to school to get an education about the country they were brought into and when they turn eighteen they could make the decision if they wanted to become a U.S. citizen and take the test or decide if they want to back to the country they came from. Since it wasn't their choice to come into this country they
...onvinced that my original question is an important one, therefore I am continuing with this formulation: “This invisible group in United States: the struggles and unsolved problems of undocumented immigrants” is going to be my argument of supporting “Undocumented students”. They deserve the rights to extend their education in order to achieve their American dreams. Their choices shouldn’t be limited by their statues, if they could achieve their academics successfully. United States cannot deprive undocumented immigrants of their academic rights for long term because this is a lost-lost situation. If U.S gives the undocumented immigrants their opportunities, there will be more educated people in the country, and they will give the country back with their skills. As a result, the entire country can move forward as a whole to becoming a better and stronger country.
For many years, people from all over the world have come to the United States seeking a better life for themselves, their spouse, their children and even their children's children. However, not every immigrant comes into this country legally and many of these illegal immigrants are poor, uneducated and may be carrying contagious diseases. They may arrive here via human trafficking, smuggling or other methods. There is one thing we know for sure that many of them choose to remain silence when they become victims. The three main reasons they become invisible victims are they are not aware they are victimized, they don't know the right way to ask for help and they are afraid to be fired or even deported.
Illegal immigration has been an ongoing problem in America for many decades. The form of law that currently governs the immigration process is, the Immigration and Naturalization Act, and it has been broken for many years as immigrants still continue to pour into the states illegally. The immigration acts enacted in the past that have been continuously modified leads up to the current policy that falls under the Incrementalism model. However, it is important to note that the current American Immigration system is broken and is in dire need of reform. There are 11 million people living in the dark and too many employers cheating the system by hiring undocumented workers in exchange for offering lesser pay. The current system is hurting the economy and bringing down our country as a whole.
This article focused mainly the emergence of the first people in America: Who they are, where they came from and how they got to America. He discussed three main routes as to how they arrived in America, none of which were without criticisms. In trying to determine whom the first people in America are, Hadingham began with the Clovis points and their creators, the Clovis people, who lived about 12,500 to 13,500 years ago, and tried to trace their origin.
Having the opportunity of staying in school is very important to illegal immigrants because that means they can realize the American Dream. It is something that every immigrant that comes to the U.S wants to achieve. By applying to the dream act illegal immigrants from the age of sixteen through thirty five can go to school. They are eligible to stay in school and or go to college if they have not done so. For example some of the immigrant students have immense talents that can be used for America’s assistance, but not being able to stay in school they can not succeed. “Thousands of young people have worked hard. But they are being denied that chance to build a better future for themselves and to contribute their skills, talents, and creativity to the country” (Duncan). By having the choice of staying in school, as well as the help it is more exciting to those students that want to become someone in life. Some of the illegal aliens possess some amazing talent...
“When a kid comes to this country, and he’s four years old and he has choice in it – his parents came illegally. He still, because he is in this states, it’s the states responsibility- in fact, it is the state’s legal mandate – to make sure that child is in school. So let’s say that the kid goes to school. That kid is in our school from kindergarten through the 12th grade. He graduates as valedictorian because he’s a smart kid and works his read end off. The question is : is he better off going to college and becoming a neurosurgeon or a banker or whatever he might become, and becoming a taxpayer, and in the process having to apply for and achieve citizenship, or should we make him pick tomatoes? I think its better if he goes to college and becomes a citizen.”
The number of undocumented workers in the United States has increased since the rise of our economy. An undocumented worker is a person in a country, like the United States, without the right documents to be proven to be allowed in the country. Many reasons are blamed for the increase of these undocumented workers. Undocumented workers increased because the change in law of the United States made it impossible for foreign workers to go to the country (Zoltan). These laws made a chain of problems that the United States is still suffering today. One example of a problem is the decrease of American jobs. The problems of the United States caused by undocumented workers can be solved by supporting Mexico and other countries to make more jobs in their own countries, to reduce numbers of undocumented workers in the United States.

In recent times, there has been a major controversy regarding the legal rights of the offspring’s of illegal immigrants in the United States of America. Not all children of the world get the opportunity to receive proper education. Many countries can afford to require education, thus many children fail to receive basic education. The United States of America uses taxpayer money to pay for the public schools that provide children education up to the twelfth grade. Since the parents of the offspring are illegal they would not pay taxes, thus they would not contribute to the school systems. Many people see this as an advantage and feel it is unfair considering the parents are not citizens of the United States of America.
I’m writing this on behave of all undocumented immigrants. As a nurse we must care for all types of populations. In our healthcare today, we have many vulnerability individual and communities. Vulnerability means a certain population whom may include racial, children, elderly, poor, underinsured or those with medical condition; whom health conditions are worsening by inadequate access to health care. Today’s topic is on the denial of health care benefits to undocumented immigrants. Today health care cost for everyone is very high. Every time an uninsured person needs medical attention it tends to be when they are very sick. These uninsured people then need a high dollar amount of money to fix the medical problem or to save them because it is
In the history of United States political pressures and economic disparities are the primary reasons for immigration. Irrespective of race, color, language, gender, religion, property, birth or other status the Universal Declaration of Human Rights acknowledge and protected the inherent dignity and unalienable rights equally to all humans. Out of 36 million people, 12% of the population is foreign-born. Rapid grow of immigrants and the fact that where immigrants are spreading to many more communities across the county are most like to keep immigration in the national policy debate and healthcare reform. Immigrants are based on 3 categories. Lawful immigrants, refugees and unauthorized immigrants. Lawful immigrants are legally entered into United
Refugees face a lot of challenges and oppression within society, and social workers are needed
Those who propose barring the children of illegal immigrants from our schools have understandable worries. They worry that their state taxes will rise as undocumented children crowd their school systems. They worry about the crowding itself, given the loss of quality education that comes with large class sizes. They worry that school resources will be deflected from their children because of the linguistic and social problems that many of the newcomers face. And finally, they worry that even more illegal immigrants will cross our borders because of the lure of free education.
Do you think child immigrants should be allowed to stay in U.S.A, even if they are illegal. I am all for kids staying in the U.S.A.
Three years ago, I witnessed an incident where a child was denied access to a local school because she didn’t have the relevant document needed by the school for registration. She was only nine when she migrated along with her parents to the Bahamas and her dream was to get into a primary school as soon as possible in order to pick up the necessary education needed to proceed to the next level, since she didn’t had the opportunity to get a start up education back at home. The document needed was a student permit or as many would call it a student visa that must be issued before migrating to other countries if a person wishes to further their education elsewhere. Since the child was unable to present this required document, admission was disapproved. Every child despite her legal status should be afforded the right to education. Many adults migrate voluntarily to other countries in search of a better life or future. Many dreamt of leaving their native land and seeking asylum in other countries in order that their children would be able to obtain proper schooling that they weren’t able to neither acquire nor provide. As a result, a lot of children are obliged to wander to other countries along with their parents not by choice but because their parents had to. One cannot blame or penalize a young child who had no decision in what her parents did in coming to a country. A child shouldn’t have to pay the consequences for an act she didn’t commit. The right of admission to education, the right to quality education and the right to respect within the learning environment should be granted to a child once she is able and willing to learn. According to Wikipedia, ...
