.Electronics and Communication has always been a fascinating subject for me. When I was away from home for my studies, I used to talk with my family on the telephone. The joy of talking to my family used to be over-shadowed by the curiosity of the telephone’s functioning. I always wondered how this small piece of plastic connected with a wire carries my father’s voice from miles away. The myriad of scientific technologies around me had a very strong influence in fueling my inquisitiveness towards it. My inclination towards Electronics started during my high school. Once, my Physics teacher got an award for speech recognition automatic typing machine for blind people. I was fascinated and could imagine how this could be boon for them. My curiosity had already started when my family watching television, father working in laptops or speaking on mobile phone. I was curious about functioning of Television, Laptops and Mobile phone. My mother and father could not answer my queries and my Science teacher’s explanations were over my head. This brought a greater desire for understanding than ever before. After deciding at a very early age about my career I paid ardent attention to physics and mathematics, the basics to electronics. During my high school to keep myself abreast with latest technological development, I joined Science Club, took part in various exhibitions and read many scientific journals through internet. I finished my intermediate level with good grades. Then I joined Bachelor in Electronics and Communication engineering at Pulchowk Campus. Though the learning techniques were not very practical there, the four years of rigorous theoretical study gave me insight into the depth of Electronics and Communication. Some of the m... ... middle of paper ... ... wish to gain a more global perspective and expand my horizon to international standards in a more specialization oriented curriculum. If I can get an opportunity to be a part of that intellectually stimulating environment, I am sure my talents will be put to optimal use. I can polish my knowledge and skill with the advanced technologies available which I can use to improve the academic conditions here in my home country. Nepal is a developing country with an enormous potential in the information technology business. Electronics and communication is going to become of utmost importance to serve the needs of this developing industry. Thus, conditions here are very conducive to supplement my aspirations when I return after completing my graduate studies. Given a chance, I could broaden my creativity, perspective, and understanding of this subject to achieve this goal.
Being the top student in my secondary school (with 85.5%), I got admitted into Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering at MIT, Ujjain. My curriculum enhanced my knowledge in Microprocessors, Digital Signal Processing, and Analytical and Industrial Instrumentation. Having a strong zeal towards Information System and Computer Programming, I have also learned different languages like C, C++, SQL and PL/SQL.
To live in an economically disadvantaged community dramatically increases the risk of not only poorer health, but also children exposed to diminished education due to rural schools that are in the worst condition possible. The video above presented an in+depth view of many elementary students whose academic performance were influenced by the rural location - Detroit, MI. These children, among many others, face constant exposure to unhealthy and impactful challenges. Furthermore, these challenges can be prevented if brought into crucial awareness and accountability of the government and state legislators. This paper will discuss factors in Detroit such as social class inequality, community support and social conditions that has negative and positive contributions to struggling schools.
As an engineering student, design, develop and test electrical equipments is the major purpose of all time. In other words, electrical engineer is concerned with using electricity to transmit electric power. In electrical engineering, there are extensive subfields such as power engineering, control system and signal processing. It is also worth to point out the difference between electrical engineering and electronic engineering. According to the research, electronic engineering is a major that deal with the electronic system such as computers and radar, to be more specific, electronic engineers are concerned with using electricity to process information.
A fascination for Science & Technology and keen interest in the ever-growing world of technology motivated me to take up engineering. The power of research and delivering it for the growth of Society is what makes me interested in the technology side of science. I choose to major Computer science Engineering with an intense urge to delve into this challenging field. During my under graduation program I learned the various fundamentals of Computer science Engineering which together with practical course works reinforced my interest.
In today's world, any scope or industry can exist without electronics. That is why there is a wide range of occupations for people who graduate from the Electronics Engineering Technician program. A lack of work experience and knowledge about career opportunities can be obstacles to finding a suitable job. The aim of the report is to determine the best career option for alumni of the two-year Electronics Engineering program at the college.
Electrical engineering is the major that I am pursuing during my college career. I decided to pursue this major because it is a career, which requires knowledge in other subjects, it is a career, which changes often, and everyday it provides a person with new problems to solve.
Despite the short amount of time since the introduction of the smartphone, the rapid development of the software and technology has had a tremendous effect on the everyday life of society today. The concept of communicating through a telephone was developed in the 1870s. Devices to transmit speech electrically were designed by Elisha Gray and Alexander Graham Bell, but Bell's design was patented first. On March 10, 1876, Alexander Graham Bell achieved one of his greatest successes in the making of the telephone. This brought upon a major change in communication and gave leeway to the improvement of the telephone in the days to come (Bellis, 2013b).
Cell phones have immensely changed the way people communicate today. A cell phone can be all a person need for interaction. From a cell phone, a person can make calls, send text messages, emails, and send and also receive directions, buy things online, do online banking, listen to music and much more. Since someone can do everything with one device, there is no longer a need to go around with multiple devices about. Greek hydraulic semaphore systems were used as early as the 4th century. The hydraulic semaphores, which functioned with water filled containers and visual signals, functioned as optical telegraphs. However, they could only apply a very limited range of pre-determined messages, and as with all such visual telegraphs could only be deployed during good visibility conditions. Experiments on communication using electricity was carried out in 1729 but was not successful. The experiment was proposed by William Fothergill Cooke. In 1837, William invented a practical electric telegraph which entered commercial use in 1838 (J. B. Calvert, May 2004). The first telephone was invented in 1878 by Alexander Graham Bell. He experimented with a ‘phonautograph’, it is a machine shaped like a pen that can draw shapes of sound waves on smoked glass by tracing vibrations.
Today there are many technological advancement to enhance our daily activities, whether it be as simple as an Ipod for entertainment purposes or as vital as an artificial heart for the survival of a human live, science and technology is the reason for its existence.
Unknown to many, Digital Signal Processing has a broader impact in economic, social, and global categories. In the economic view, digital signal processing generates income and has proved to successfully bring plenty of business for the future; it is where the future is heading. In social context, digital signal processing has enabled us to evolve (and continue to Evolve) with communications to virtually any one in the world. It connects millions around the world, which brings us to the Global aspect. Digital signal processing is relevant due to the fact that it has become a necessity. A lot of people only think cellphones; little do they know digital signal processing is used in everyday life.
At the dawn of the information age, to be young, as Wordsworth said in another context, is very heaven. Getting to know what goes inside computers, the engines of the Information Technology revolution, and knowing how to work with them enables one to understand the technology that makes it all possible. Understanding this, I chose to do my undergraduate study in Electronics and Communications engineering.
My fascination towards Electronics N Communication basically developed in the 12th when I took part in a science exhibition. I was then fascinated with the complexities of different structures and their working. The i...
