Far back, in the midst of a time when the world was very young, there lived a princess named Lucille and a bunny named Fluffy. Lucille was a beautiful girl with chocolate brown hair, and eyes as blue as the sweet summer sky. Fluffy was as white as snowflakes and as soft as clouds. Stargirl was not like everyone else in Mica High. She was a unique individual with no restrictions to her own identity. But when Leo stressed the fact that she was so different, she undertook the task to change herself, for Leo’s sake. Even though Leo was euphoric with the new Susan Caraway, her shunning was not ebbed. The change did nothing for stargirl but cripple her jovial personality. Stargirl shouldn’t have changed herself for someone else’s motive, but should’ve kept herself the way she was, as your own happiness should be put before others, and there’s always someone that stays by your side no matter the notions made of you.

I’m Freda Josephine Baker born to Carrie McDonald and Eddie Carson on June 3rd, 1906, in St. Louis, Missouri, but most of you may know me as Josephine Baker. At the age of 12 I dropped out of school to become an entertainer, yes yes, I remember it like it was yesterday, I was young and ready to become a star. I grew up cleaning houses and babysitting for white families, and they always reminded me “be sure not to kiss the baby”. When I was 13, I got a waitressing job at the Chauffeur’s Club, which was where I met my first husband, our marriage was very brief; I had never hesitated to leave anyone, never depended on any man for anything, that’s for sure.
Because of his past negative choices, he was forced to turn into a horrible beast and took his problems out on other people, particularly Belle and Maurice who were lost. After he captured Belle, he showed how violent he was and did all he could to make her feel as miserable as possible. For example, when she first refused to attend dinner with him, he became increasingly angrier and treated the young woman with much disrespect, most likely since he was not used to being rejected after living alone for so long. In addition, he showed his dominance and abusing power over others by constantly bossing the talking objects around and telling them that they weren’t allowed to do certain things. The Beast’s actions show that prior to developing feelings for Belle, he was very controlling, acted on instinct, and had many difficulties getting along with others. However, as the story went on, he was able to control his temper more easily and form relationships with those he came in contact

Jeanne-Marie LePrince de Beaumont’s print version and Disney’s 1991 film edition of Beauty and the Beast both convey the message of how one must sacrifice something to show their true love towards another, however Disney’s version of the story sends the message more effectively. To begin with, the Beast in the published story demonstrates how he is empathetic after Beauty requests to see her father and he says, "than give you the least uneasiness. I will send you to your father…” [Le Prince de Beaumont 6]. As the Beast grants Beauty’s desire to reunite with her father one last time, the audience notices that the Beast is jeopardizing his chance of having Beauty stay with him forever, knowing she may not come back however, nothing is given up

At first, it becomes apparent to the viewer that Disney’s Beast has a difficult time controlling his rage, using his external prowess as the Beast to make Beauty feel threatened and unsafe, by both verbally abusing her with his aggressive shouts and intimidating her with his shocking presence. Because the once handsome prince was changed into a hideous monster for being unkind, he now allows his unpleasant persona as the Beast to control the man that lay underneath his gruff exterior.
The one thing that separates Beauty and the Beast from all the other fairy tales is that Beauty gets to know the Beast before marrying him. She lives with him for several months and gets to know him for what he is inside. He is not a prince that rescues her but she is a woman that rescues him. It is only when she professes her love for him that he is transformed. If it wasn’t for her love of the Beast from the inside he would have never been transformed and they would not have been wed. Yes, he helps her mature and become a beautiful, young women but it is her that causes the transformation.
