Baseball has been a part of me for quite a while now. I have done something baseball related each week for the past several years. It has really changed what I like to do in my spare time, and it also had changed my priorities. This was the first sport I would have played, and I haven’t played a different sport since the start of me playing Baseball. There were and still are so many ways baseball has changed my life.
Baseball - Talk about something I live and die for. This sport means more to me than my first kid will ever mean to me. No not literally but that is how important and meaningful this sport is to me. When I was younger the game of baseball was a safe haven for me. This was because I had a speech impediment which caused me to have trouble making friends at school. To counter my loneliness, I developed a close relationship with my dad. However, my dad worked six days a week and on his off days he always watched baseball. So, I decided to watch the games with him. I quickly became invested in the sport and watched every game that I could and eventually started covering the entire league. Gradually I began realizing that baseball
It’s a sport you have to enjoy, you have to love getting down in the dirt to be safe on a base. You have to love running fast so that you make it home to score. You have to love picking up that bat and swinging as hard as you can to get the ball as far as you can. I love all these things about softball. I even enjoy “taking one for the team” which means you may get out at but you helped advance your teammate to the next base. Softball is my favorite sport because it’s a difficult sport and I really enjoy playing
Sports play a very important role in my life ever since I could walk. My interests in playing sports began at the age of three as my parents signed me up for soccer, flag football, basketball, and lacrosse. First grade started my competitive edge as I began to play for travel teams in various sport tournaments. This competitive edge transferred from the sports field to the classroom having teachers and coaches helping me be the best I can be. Sports have continually well-shaped and defined my character by teaching me how to accept a win from working hard, also how a loss is an opportunity to learn and fix mistakes.
Everyone in this world has that one thing that they are very passionate about. Being passionate about something is taking the time and effort to better yourself in that particular thing. Sports is what has molded us into the people we are today. The world of sports is so unique, and people have different interest and fascinations. From being a child I can remember watching the Red Sox and Celtics with my father and becoming a die hard fan for those teams due to my family being serious fans. Not only did watching those games turn me into a good New England fan but it also gave me some good quality time with my father and brothers.

A hobby I've held onto and cherished for a very long time was playing baseball. The sport was introduced to me by my father through the movie The Sandlot. For me, Baseball laid down the foundation for my future and has been a positive force in my development since I was young.

Of course, I enjoyed every bite of the time I spent playing basketball.
Some of the reasons I love basketball are because it is challenging, helps me improve myself as a person, and teaches me a lot about life. In this sport, I have learned how to mentally prepare myself for hardships. When I am in a game and down two points with only a few seconds left on the clock, I know exactly which play to run. I also know how to use what energy I have left in my body and mental...
