Have you ever heard of hurricane Sandy? Many people have. Hurricane Sandy was believed to be an engineered superstorm. The damage that was caused by Sandy was estimated at 50 billion dollars. It left people homeless, towns in ruins, little food, and a really big mess to clean up. But was it really an engineered superstorm? Hurricane Sandy took place on October 22, 2012 only to end 11 days later on November 2, 2012. It affected millions of people along the U.S. Mid-Atlantic and Northeast coasts. It was know as deadliest and most destructive hurricane of the 2012 Atlantic hurricane season, as well as the second-costliest hurricane in United States history.
