First of all, welcome. We are very grateful that everyone took the time to attend to this special day with us. I also would like to start by saying hello to our relatives from Salvador, Mexico, and United States who for different reasons were not able to attend today, however they are watching us from their screens and i would like to take the time to say to them thank you for the support and kisses. Godparents, Parents of the Damas & Chambelanes: we thank you with all our heart for the sacrifice, the effort and the unconditional support, that you parents and godparents have given us and for making this dream possible. A dream that will be marked forever in the memory of my beloved daughter: Angie. Angie, This thought is for you and it’s titled: “You are the perfect gift with a wonderful coincidence”. A day like today, but in 2003 through the halls of the hospital you could hear the cries of pain of a mother who was about to give birth. She screamed of pain but also of happiness because that same day it was the mother’s birthday and what better gift than the birth of her babygirl. …show more content…
The two persons that deserve this credits and much more are, your beautiful mother and your wonderful aunt, who is like your second mother "Aunt Lupita" I beg you today to never forget it. They are responsible for who you have become today, an incredible young woman. You are a beautiful, intelligent and above of all very respectful young lady. I am very grateful to God for choosing me to be your father. You are so young and I am very happy in the way you are planning to live your life. You have been a good girl and you have never let me
Good evening. I would like to begin by welcoming each and every one of you to this joyous and stressful occasion.
Good evening Ladies and Gentlemen - I must admit, I am more nervous about participating in this wedding than I was as the groom (bridegroom) at my own wedding. Maybe it's because I have been married thirty years and I know what my son is getting himself in to!
I would like to thank the beautiful bridesmaids for looking after the bride, the vicar for a lovely service, his boss for the great improvement in the weather and the staff at the h...
The agreed upon contract between the government of Bangladesh and Niko Resources Ltd. consisted of Niko being able to revive two abandoned gas fields in Bangladesh to replicate their famous Indian success story. Although no fatalities were reported in the two blowouts, Niko Resources Ltd. became the central focus of Bangladeshi politicians, journalists, activists, and villagers who tarnished their reputation while seeking compensation. In order to achieve a win-win outcome in the next phase of negotiation while reconstructing the reputation of Niko Resources Ltd. it is essential to acknowledge the underlying interests of both parties. Therefore, proposing an overlap of interest between both parties along with suggesting cultural differences that may be impacting further negotiations and their respective solutions can be a useful tool in achieving the preferred outcome.
Well, good afternoon everyone, for those of you that don?t know me my name is Lee and I?m Janie?s dad, and in keeping with tradition, it is my honor and privilege to deliver the ?Father of the Bride Speech?. Having to make this speech is one of the few opportunities in a married man?s life when he is allowed to do all of the talking...and I intend to make the most of it.
I would like to start by saying what a pleasure it is to welcome, on this very happy occasion all relatives and friends of both families. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank especially my wife for not only being tolerant but more importantly an outstanding mother and the guiding influence in the upbringing of our daughter, culminating in today's celebrations.
I want to thank all of my Mother’s friends and family for being here today to celebrate her life and to mourn her death. I’m sure she would be thrilled to see all of you here and I know it would have meant the world to her.
I would like to start my speech today by thanking Richard for his kind words. I am really proud to have become Isia’s husband; ever since the day we met I have been treated as one of the family and this has made our Journey to this day that much smoother! Thank you both for your blessing I promise that I will make you proud and live up to the high expectations I am sure you have! Thank you for everything you have both done in making this day so special if it wasn’t for you I am sure I would still be saving. So far the day has been an amazing experience and I am sure it can only get better.
You came into my life and changed me forever. Over the years people have complimented me for being a good mother but I can't take credit for that. You were born good and you were the one who was often teaching me. I believe you are an angel God sent to teach me. You taught me love. You taught me honesty. You taught me how to forgive and how to be strong. You are the strongest person I have ever known and you gave me strength when I was weak. When times were sad and tough I looked to you for strength. You taught me how to be myself. Most of all you taught me about life and how to live.
Finally, on behalf of the bride and groom I would like to thank everyone for sharing their special day, it is a true millstone - sorry milestone in their lives. On behalf of myself I wish you'd all stayed at home - as things would have been a lot easier on me. I started planning this speech about 5 months ago and I expect you all feel like I've been delivering it equally as long. But now it gives me immense pleasure (not to mention relief) to invite you to all stand and raise your glasses in a toast to John and Angie. To love, laughter and happily ever after. To John and Angie CONGRATULATIONS
I’d also like to echo Randys comments and thank everyone again on their behalf for coming and sharing their special day, particularly those that have travelled long distances. I know how hard i...
Now, let me move on. It's not only about being mentored; it's about mentoring. There's a specific kind of man you have to be pouring into (to invest in his development). I’m talking about a faithful man. First, you have to be faithful before you start talking to another man about being faithful.
I couldn't have been luckier to have such wonderful in-laws, thank you for making me feel so welcome in your family and for all your support with the wedding arrangements. A special thank you to my mother-in-law for sorting out the bridesmaids outfits and for making all of the invitations and order of service cards which were beautiful. And to my father-in-law, thank you for your lovely reading in church today.
I could go on forever thanking you both for everything that you have done and sacrificed for all of us over the past years, but I hope you realize how thankful I am to have you both in my life and to be able to call you my parents. Your love for each other gives me hope and inspiration for my future marriage. Through the years, you have taught me that marriage is more than just a relationship, it is the perfect balance of a partnership between two people who would sacrifice their own lives for the other while also remaining best friends. The values and attributes that you each have taught me have helped me to prepare the foundation for my adult life. You and your marriage have set the example that has allowed me to understand the true meaning
May my efforts as a mother not be measured by my actions, but by the love I show in my actions. You will always feel surrounded by love in all the stages of your life. I hope you fall in love with the stars and their clarity. I hope you embrace the crisp air with a hug, as it surrounds you in a blanket each time
