Attention material/narrative: Good morning everyone. Today I will be talking about Shakira. Of course all of you know her famous song, “Hips Don’t Lie.” And no I will not stand up here and shake my hips because that would not be the only thing that jiggles. Your all welcome. But What I am going to do today is bring you guys attention as to why the Columbia popstar deserves this commemoration speech.
Thesis statement: My purpose is to commemorate Shakira because what she has done through-out life and career.

During her childhood years living with her mother, Oprah had very little money and life was difficult. She wants to help as many children as possible grow up in a sound, safe, and educational environment. Oprah has changed the world with all of her organizations and charity efforts. Oprah Winfrey has helped thousands of children attend school with her scholarships that she has funded. Many of these children would never go to school or continue their college career without her amazing efforts of providing financial support to these children.
