Humorous Wedding Speech For An Educator

Good evening esteemed Board Members, Colleges, Friends, and Family,
I stand before you humbled and honored to receive this award. An award which represents an achievement in my field of work as an educator. But it was by no mean an easy task to achieve alone. It’s said that it takes a village to raise a child, the same can be said about raising an educator. Along the way there were several individuals who stood beside me to make this happen. My family is the main reason I stand in front of you and I would like to publicly acknowledge them for their support.

Lupe thank you for help babysitting Aaron when mom was not available and being the best Tia in the world to Aaron. Thank you for helping with paper work like sticking those labels onto the DRDPs and other paper work that had to get done. And a big thank you for attending those questionable music concerts for class assignments, when I attended school. I know that I could count on you to do it again.
Yamel thank you for listening and giving great advice on days where work was a little crazy and always pushing me out of my comfort level in order to get ahead professionally.
Aaroncito thank you for being the best kid in the world. You are a smart easy going kid. So patient and understanding. Great partner for attending museums or the theater so that I could complete class assignments for school. You’re always inspiring me to keep moving forward to work harder. Thank you cool guy for always loving me unconditionally.
