Good morning Matsumoto students and staff, this is Jaimie Nguyen from Room 29. I would like you to join me in the pledge, wait, this isn’t the flag salute! I’m running for Student Council President! I would like to thank you for considering me as your next President. Now, I know what you’re thinking, why should I vote for Jaimie Nguyen? The main reason I wish to become President is because I have many goals for our school. I KNOW school can sometimes be boring. Am I right? Therefore, I believe Tom Matsumoto should have STEM Week, a week full of science, technology, engineering, and mathematic games that will spark excitement in the STEM subjects! Can you imagine making slime at school? Another one of my goals for our school is to have more fun activities to bring the school together. A few activities I think we should have in our school are Buddy Bench, Trivia Day, and Multi-Cultural Day. A final goal I would like to achieve is that I want to make you feel comfortable at school. We can write kind messages to each other or make a book of introductions with everyone’s name, likes, and dislikes. How cool would it be to have everyone feel like they belong? …show more content…
I have been in Expect Respect for two years, coming up with creative ideas to improve our school. During recess, I would be a conflict manager to help students work out their problems with each other. Therefore, I know how to solve problems among students, and I am familiar with the students. I’m not going to try to make myself look smart by throwing a whole bunch of big boy or girl vocabulary words at you. For example, Mozambique is not a megalopolis. I don’t even know what half of the words I just said are! I’ll make sure this doesn’t happen to
Another activity you could create is a sledding type activity while one player pulls the other on a tarp or other item. When you get to the summer olympics you could recreate a track and field relay where athletes have a baton and run back and forth across the gym jumping over hurdles and or going under different obstacles in their path. After they have completed this athletes could compete with each other to shoot free throws with a basketball almost as a shot put. Two large changes I would make to the rallys are that people in the crowd could have more involvement, I know it is not possible for all students to be selected for the activities but even a quick game or rock paper scissors with your neighbors or the simon says game would help. The other change I would make comes to music! What is students could pick what music is played at rallys! We could set up a link or a poster with songs and students could vote on what
Thank you for sharing your stories with me. I really enjoyed watching as you grow and change, becoming braver and more defiant and finding your voice. You were living in Erik’s shadow, as he blocked the light and the truth from you, for over ten years. Then you uncovered the truth and stood up to him, and now you are starting your bright, hope-filled, promising future, accompanied by the scent of a golden dawn.
Time-management is an important quality for any president, which I have mastered over my years in school. My philosophy is that you have to finish what you started, and what better way is there to do that than do it successfully? Just by looking at my extracurricular activities in my application packet, there is enough achievements there that students may take a whole four years to accomplish, and I did it in two! This is important
Good afternoon my fellow people of the United States of America. I would like to begin by thanking my mother and brothers for fueling this outrageous idea of running for president, and I am delighted that they were able to join us today. Their words of encouragement helped me strive for greatness and were also great reminders of the outcome during hardships in this journey. Like many of you know, family has played a big role of where I stand so, we are especially pleased to welcome them into our presence. I would also would like to thank and welcome those who said I wouldn’t be able to reach my goal, back in my days, kids would have a saying, “if you ain’t got no haters, you ain’t popping”.
To the Groom, Dear Mr. Gunter, Congratulations. You have become the luckiest man in the world today. I have watched countless men try to win the heart of your bride and fail. You have been given the honor of being the husband to my dear friend Elaina.
Thank you all for gathering here today in order to celebrate my departure from work, but please do not be sad. On this special occasion, it is a time to reminisce all the wonderful, and even the not-so-wonderful, times we have had together working here at McDonald’s. We have had our fair share of ups and downs, but in the end, we are always smiling and laughing, which is what matters most. But before I can continue, I would like to begin with remembering my first day at work. Then, I would like to talk about the memories that I have made along the way.
Hope everyone is getting ready to ring in 2016! As we wrap of 2015 and get ready to ring in a shiny new year, we want to take the time to thank each and everyone of you. It has been a year of growth and learning and we could not have done it without your love and support. Thank you to our families, friends, vendors, friendors, and clients. Thank you to all of those whom have helped us and supported us in little and big ways.
Good Morning everyone! Welcome friends, family, teachers, God our Father, and most importantly the St. Timothy graduates of 2017. I would like to start by saying thank you for the opportunity to stand here and address you all this morning. We sit here today on the precipice of the future. It is not a distant reality anymore.
For all the time that I have spent in this school, it is a memorable time that I will never regret for having it. First of all, I want to thank you all the teachers who teach me — not just knowledge in the classroom but also life lessons. Secondly, for my friends, especially my best friends, I want you to know that all those moments of happiness, craziness, and etc. that we share together are very precious to me. Most important for my best friends (again), thank you for the moments of silence we share together, where words don’t need to be said, but we know we are in it together, thank you for fighting all of life’s battles by my side, thank you for being there for me when I call you and need someone to just listen, thank you for always being
Good afternoon everyone, thank you so much to all of you guys to come here to celebrate the happy of the graduation class. It my pleasure to be here to deliver this speech. Not only the campus is beautiful but the atmosphere around the campus is second to none. All the student, Professor, Faculty and staff are the nicest people I have ever meet.
Good evening esteemed Board Members, Colleges, Friends, and Family, I stand before you humbled and honored to receive this award. An award which represents an achievement in my field of work as an educator. But it was by no mean an easy task to achieve alone. It’s said that it takes a village to raise a child, the same can be said about raising an educator.
I am extremely happy and honored to be able to give this short speech in my oldest brother’s wedding. Today, i am able to witness, be here, and to congratulate my brother ANTHONY and his beautiful wife, GISELLE on their marriage. I have always believed that there is someone out there for everyone and today, ANTHONY has found who he calls his soulmate, GISELLE. The first time I met GISELLE, I knew that I was going to accept her and get along very well with her because of her personality. I was sure and positive that GISELLE was the one for my brother just by seeing how happy he was around her.
First, let me introduce myself, I'm Nguyen Thi Ngoc, from DH14TA2. I am honored and delighted to stand here and express my feeling on an important day like this – Graduation Ceremony . Four years is not too long but it is enough to have many memories at this place, to know where I was standing, what I want, and my choice is right or wrong and perfecting myself more . It was a journey that I can't accomplish alone without any help yet.
Welcome Everyone! I am honored to be a part of the graduating PN Class 47. I want to start off by thanking Wes Watkins Technology Center and all the staff that have helped us get to where we are, for it is a life changing opportunity. It truly is a wonderful privilege.
Valedictorian Speech Good evening fellow graduates, teachers, family members, friends, and distinguished guests. It is a tremendous honor to be the valedictorian of our graduating class. My job is to somehow be the voice of the entire graduating class, and take five minutes to say a few words on behalf of all 539 of us. Like most valedictorians, writing this speech was not an easy task for me. Not because I did not have anything to say, but because I was overwhelmed by how much I wanted to share with you all on this day. Tonight, we have one common purpose, to celebrate. We are here to congratulate, to look towards what the future holds for us, to wish each other well, and to, most importantly look back on our time spent here. So, I would like to start by saying 'well done' to my fellow graduates, who have all worked hard during the past several years to reach this milestone. I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to the graduating class for selecting me to speak here tonight. Ever since the news broke, many people, some who've I've never really met before, have come up to me and have wished me well. Perhaps this speech would be incomplete if I don’t say something to the teachers. On the behalf of my entire class, I would like to thank all my teachers: thank you. Thank you for teaching us, for leading us, for building us up as adults. I know that we have not given back to you the respect you deserve. I know that we have not told you how much we appreciate you taking time out of your schedules to help us. And I know that we have not said thank you for giving us a wonderful education. So, I hope that as I say thanks, you can forget our shortcomings and remember us for who we are and not from the mistakes we have made. ...
