Mrs. Brock you are and always will be my favorite teacher and coach. When I first started basketball believe it or not I was terribly nervous to have to try out. The first day of tryouts was over and I realized how much fun this journey would be. Your passion and dedication shines and everyone on the team looks up to you. Let me start out by saying I’m going to miss you so so so so so much. You helped me in basketball so much by pushing me to be my best. Although there are sometimes where I didn’t believe in myself you did. Also, thank you for keeping me motivated when I wanted to give up. I would like to start off by saying thank you.Thank you for becoming a positive role model in my life, thank you for all of your advice, but most of all thank you for being a friend. When we first met I knew that you were going to be an awesome teacher ; What I did not know was that one day I would strive to be like you as an adult, or that I would learn something other than history in your class and I never would have guessed I would call you a friend.
I was given insight by you on things that I felt were impossible in my life. You have been there for me through the good and bad. I remember the first time I talked to you, standing in your room while you sternly talked to me, I thought I was doomed and that I was going to hate you and your class and ironically I ended up growing close to you and loving your class. Ladies and gentlemen, it's an honour to be standing here. I suppose I should actually say it's an honour and a pleasure, but I know the pleasure won’t kick in until this speech part is over.
First of all, I'd like to welcome all the parents, relatives and friends, on behalf of the senior class. It has been a long, hard road to graduation and I know your presence here is greatly appreciated. My job as salutatorian is to reminisce on our past here at County High, a past that reads like a script of a soap opera.
Now I would like to take the time to thank everyone who has helped me get this far. First of all, thank you to all the teachers. None of us would be here without you always pushing our academic abilities to the fullest. Jessica Parker a.k.a. my partner in crime as Mr. Tri would refer to us. You made everyday coming to school worthwhile. Hillary Laswell, who would leave third period to go steal flowers from horticulture and give them to Mrs. Granillo with me. My brother Jeramie who always said, "If anyone is mean to you, I'll take care of it." My Mom, thank you for always believing in me and putting up with me when I was a real jerk.

I am extremely honored to be speaking to you tonight on behalf of the class of 2018. I would like to start off by, of course, thanking my parents, David and Stephanie Lopez, for everything they have done for me. Being a parent isn’t a easy job, but they seem to pull it off effortlessly. I would also like to thank Shelby, David, and Mikey for being my best friends in the whole world.

Good Morning everyone! Welcome friends, family, teachers, God our Father, and most importantly the St. Timothy graduates of 2017. I would like to start by saying thank you for the opportunity to stand here and address you all this morning. We sit here today on the precipice of the future. It is not a distant reality anymore.
For all the time that I have spent in this school, it is a memorable time that I will never regret for having it. First of all, I want to thank you all the teachers who teach me — not just knowledge in the classroom but also life lessons. Secondly, for my friends, especially my best friends, I want you to know that all those moments of happiness, craziness, and etc. that we share together are very precious to me. Most important for my best friends (again), thank you for the moments of silence we share together, where words don’t need to be said, but we know we are in it together, thank you for fighting all of life’s battles by my side, thank you for being there for me when I call you and need someone to just listen, thank you for always being
I only know a few of you, but that doesn’t mean I can’t thank all of you. Together, you brought my classroom here to this stage and you will never know how grateful I am for this. I know that we haven’t been the easiest group to handle, but somehow you managed to bring us this far. How you did this will be a mystery to us
After a hiatus, I compose this missive just to let you know that you are an excellent teacher and have inspired me to continue learning with an open and positive mind. Speaking personally, I immensely enjoyed your matchless guidance as you gave me many ideas for my classroom teaching. I appreciate all your hard work and it meant so much to me. I am truly touched by your generosity, spirit, and willingness to get out of your way to help your students. It was so kind of you to speak favorably about me all the time during my Post Graduation days. It was just what I needed and those pats meant a lot for me and enabled me to continue with my course.
Valedictorian Speech Good evening fellow graduates, teachers, family members, friends, and distinguished guests. It is a tremendous honor to be the valedictorian of our graduating class. My job is to somehow be the voice of the entire graduating class, and take five minutes to say a few words on behalf of all 539 of us. Like most valedictorians, writing this speech was not an easy task for me. Not because I did not have anything to say, but because I was overwhelmed by how much I wanted to share with you all on this day. Tonight, we have one common purpose, to celebrate. We are here to congratulate, to look towards what the future holds for us, to wish each other well, and to, most importantly look back on our time spent here. So, I would like to start by saying 'well done' to my fellow graduates, who have all worked hard during the past several years to reach this milestone. I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to the graduating class for selecting me to speak here tonight. Ever since the news broke, many people, some who've I've never really met before, have come up to me and have wished me well. Perhaps this speech would be incomplete if I don’t say something to the teachers. On the behalf of my entire class, I would like to thank all my teachers: thank you. Thank you for teaching us, for leading us, for building us up as adults. I know that we have not given back to you the respect you deserve. I know that we have not told you how much we appreciate you taking time out of your schedules to help us. And I know that we have not said thank you for giving us a wonderful education. So, I hope that as I say thanks, you can forget our shortcomings and remember us for who we are and not from the mistakes we have made. ...
