Good evening, I have immense pride in speaking before you today and I am honoured to be giving tribute to our dear parents who have been here to guide us through all these years. I can still remember the first day of school, clinging desperately to my mother’s arm, my small fingers clutching hopelessly, fearing the unfamiliar world I was about to step into. I also remember the soothing words of encouragement and endearment that were hushed to me. The trust I had even at such a young age had me puffing out my chest and charging into that classroom with new found determination. You took care of us in every aspect; you got us out of bed and ready in the morning, cooked for us, cleaned up behind us, and disciplined us in ways that were crucial in making us who we are today. You protected us with every fibre of your being, and nurtured us when we got hurt. …show more content…
You were there for our first steps, our first words, and our first scars. You have shown pride in our simplest accomplishments, such as a scribbled drawing that took us all of thirty seconds to make. Making you proud was the best feeling; it filled us with the confidence to keep practicing the things we love. These small acts of encouragement are what gave us our hobbies and talents that we now possess. You taught us so many constructive things with total patience, like how to swim and ride a bike. We grew up all too fast, slowly leaving our adolescence behind to inevitably put you through the next stage in our lives. Anne Frank once said, “Parents can only give good advice or put them on the right paths, but the final forming of a person’s character lies in their own hands.” The accuracy of this statement is only now fully
May the love you express to each other today, always be the first thoughts during any trying times in the future.
Before I go on to celebrate my mother and what she stood for I must share with you the reality of what life was like for my mother and the family since she was first diagnosed with cancer in October. Of course, nobody suffered more than my mother, but Dad you’re definitely second. We all shared my mother’s pain. It was like we were all on trial.
You have always been there for me and helped me though good times and bad especially in my younger days.
He had eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, all of who were his life. Despite his pain, he managed to come to our events whether it was football games, swim meets, or birthday parties. He treated every accomplishment in our lives as if we had just received an Academy Award. Praise is what he gave to each and everyone of us, no matter how small a task we accomplished. Family meant everything to my grandpa, and he was the center of us all fo...
It's been over a decade now but my thoughts still linger strong, on how we use to talk for hours and the advice you'd give which was never wrong. I remember so vividly how you lovingly raised us all, with the care and purest devotion that you prayed would make us stand tall. The supportive conviction it was displayed by you consistently never uttering displeasure, never truly understood then how much family meant to you nothing else in your eyes could measure. The thousands upon thousands of meals you seasoned, baked, stewed, fried and prepared, it didn't matter you feed family, friends and strangers whoever was hungry how much you really cared. I remember how you always prayed for me and my siblings safety whenever we stayed out to late,
You made a difference in so many people's lives, that's more than most people can say in a lifetime, and you crammed it all in to a far too brief two years. I still can't believe you left us a few days ago, My Heart aches every single day. From the moment my eyes open in the morning until I drift off to sleep at night. I am hurting so much. I miss your smile, and your laughter.
Priest - Almighty God, bless these rings of faithfulness and unbroken love. May this ladies and gentlemen always be true to each other, may they be one in heart and mind, may they be united in love forever, through Christ our Lord Lysander - I give you this ring as a symbol of my love, that through health, happiness, and prosperity, I will stand with you; through illness, trouble, or poverty, I will stand with you. Take this ring as a sign of my love and commitment. Hermia - I give you this ring, because I choose you to be my partner, to have and to hold from this day forward for better or for worse, for richer for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish as long as we both shall live.
That you instilled in me a strong commitment to my family. I have so many wonderful memories of our relationship. I appreciate so much your sense of humor. It has always been fun to laugh with you.
Good evening, sweetheart! (Even though you had already said it…) Happy 2 month! I just wanted to let you know that these past 2 months have been amazing; you have given me a happiness that I’ve never felt before and that you have been the best girlfriend ever. I really do appreciate your patience with me and how you have never given up on me.
You are the strongest and most supportive parents I know. You have become more than just my mother and father. You both are my best friend and when I think of you both so many different memories come to mind, memories that will live in my head and heart forever. Mom and Dad, you have inspired me every single day. I am so appreciative for you both and affection you both more than I can ever let you both know.
When I entered the door where you were in, thank you for accepting me as your brother, it meant a lot to me. As I am writing this, I am feeling so overwhelmed with all the beautiful memories we have shared. You were the biggest reason why I changed my perspectives of the world and if it wasn’t for you, I would not be who I am
Anastasia, I think I need to speak to you in a clear term that you’ll understand in your thick skull. 1. I’m not your husband so to make the argument that I’m marrying to you is quite silly, preposterous, and flummoxing because at it stand I don’t even know you nor ever see you before expect to fake pictures. So how the heck you’ll be making a silly yet a stupid argument.
First and foremost, I would like to thank everyone on behalf of my family for coming and sharing this special occasion with us. It means a lot. Thank you! I want to thank my brother and Mary for giving me this opportunity to share few words and it is an honor to be your bridesmaid and a bestwoman. Thank you!
you have always made sure that no matter what I have everything I want and need , sometimes more . Grandma often says I have unconditional love for you and you always know this to be true , but on this day I want you to know that I will always love you no matter what we go through . You have been more
You two have given me drive, ambition, and work ethic. You have given me confidence, self-worth, and a sense of security in who I am. Without you two, I would never have taken on this stage. Thank you for giving me everything I would ever need to be who I want to
