Good evening everyone, I would like to welcome all parents, teachers, friends, family, distinguished guests, and of course, the graduating class of 18. I am Rishabh Seth, I would like to start off by congratulating all of you for completing yet another year of school, and of course, finally completing grade 8, the last year of middle school. As well as the parents for helping your kid stay in school for a whole nother year, that was some very, very tuff work - a huge round of applause for the parents We’ve come so far from where we have started, as a class, and by yourself. We all started at the bottom, and look where we are now. It's been a bumpy ride, going up and down hills, but we did it together, and now we’re through it. Looking back …show more content…
Like trying to get something from Mr. Finley’s room while he is teaching about circles and whatnot, and the expression on his face the moment you say something, its like you just stepped on his toes, thanks for terrifying those little kids, or to him answering all your questions with more questions, thanks Mr. Finley for answering our questions. Were so not …show more content…
First off, Mr. Ambrose, for taking a pie in the face just for the amusement of all us kids, thanks! Ms. Masood, for treating us all like family, thank you for taking care of us! Mr. Romanette, keeping us updated on the daily, thanks for making sure we don't fall behind And the janitors, thank you for making sure that our classrooms, our desks, our learning spaces stays the cleanest it could be, thank you for cleaning up the messes we make, no matter how big or small. And of course, the classic water bottle spill, thank you so much, all of you for making this happen. There are so many more people I could include, a list that can go on and on, but for the sake of time, and the restless kids sitting in front of me, I won't, but just know deep down in your heart that we're all thankful Life is like a canvas, you can do whatever you want with it, but you want to make as good as you can, you want to make it the best of the best, well why not with your life, the story of your life, the journey you had, is message of your piece. The paint is the school, it helps set the background for what you want to do, and the centerpiece, well is you. Just like the pages in a book, fill it with fun and joy, it's your story. So do whatever you want to do with it, but make it
Welcome friends, family, and the graduating class of 2016. I am honored to stand here before you to give this final address, even if mine is not the “final” address since Letitia and Hailey will also present their speeches, but I digress. I am so thankful for everyone who helped me, helped us get this far - whether you’re a teacher, parent, or one of the 28 friends I see before me who I have come to know and love these last few years. I would also like to thank those who are in attendance today. You show how much you care for us by your presence, and I’m sure every student here is just as glad as I am to have you with us on this remarkable day.
First of all, I'd like to welcome all the parents, relatives and friends, on behalf of the senior class. It has been a long, hard road to graduation and I know your presence here is greatly appreciated. My job as salutatorian is to reminisce on our past here at County High, a past that reads like a script of a soap opera.
Now I would like to take the time to thank everyone who has helped me get this far. First of all, thank you to all the teachers. None of us would be here without you always pushing our academic abilities to the fullest. Jessica Parker a.k.a. my partner in crime as Mr. Tri would refer to us. You made everyday coming to school worthwhile. Hillary Laswell, who would leave third period to go steal flowers from horticulture and give them to Mrs. Granillo with me. My brother Jeramie who always said, "If anyone is mean to you, I'll take care of it." My Mom, thank you for always believing in me and putting up with me when I was a real jerk.
Good Morning sweetheart. I first want to apologize for my actions last night. You're a very frustrating woman, to say the least. I've never met anyone like you with such will and determination. I'm not saying that is a bad thing, it's just not something I am used to.
now: A) I am grateful you for instilling the need that I now have of appreciating love, the importance of loving someone and the experience that it brings when you're also loved. The best of all, the vulnerability of what love has to offer because I know what rejection feels like since I never heard or felt "love" from you. B) I thank you for the hunger you instilled in me in always being and getting the best, to never settle for anything but that so that I could not experience what you put my mother through in my own marriage. C) If you had been the father that I wanted and needed at the time, then I would never have discovered how to be such a strong willed person.
"A toast to the groom! To the bride! From your best friend, who is always by your side. I wish you a lifetime of happiness and may you always be satisfied. " I began my speech.
Ms.Zerm, thank you for encouraging me to watch the news. You taught me new things every day and I'm pretty sure I speak for everyone when I say that you did an amazing job of balancing being a teacher and class clown. You made me laugh every time you crack a joke or use sarcasm in a sentence. Mrs.Hayes, thank you for being an incredible reading and language arts teacher. You were always so caring to everyone, even if you were having a bad day.
Hi Claire. I don’t know exactly what I said to you over the week, but what I do remember is that you told me that I made you uncomfortable. I am able to put A and B together and I think I have a pretty good idea of what I said. That is something you don’t deserve from a friend, or from anybody in general unless it is something you ask for and want from another person. I have to think by now that you must think that my apologies are not heartfelt and sincere, and that is a choice you have to make for yourself, but I want you to know that they are sincere in my heart.
Good Morning Kelli, I just wanted to send you a little email to hopefully bring a smile to your face before you start your workday dealing with irate and disgruntled customers. I really just wanted to take a few minutes here and tell you just how truly grateful I am that you decided to give me another shot! You really are one of the very best things that has happened to me in years. You are one of three people who has stuck it out and stayed by my side and for that I am truly grateful and appreciative!
streamers, chocolates, presents, random wishes from relatives you dont even know that existed, the one day you dont have to wear that school uniform you dread except in my case you do cause mine is in the middle of exam week, that one day your parents make an effort not to yell at you, the one day youve got all the attention and those constant demands saying im your friend no i want 4 chocolates that too hersheys and most importantly cake. what do all of these have in common? BIRTHDAYS. yes.
Thank you to all the teachers, Mrs. Pimentel for arranging all these cool things such as career day. Mr. Rojas for being one of the most amazing teachers I have ever had. Mr. Martinez for telling us “life changing advice” literally everyday and also really weird stories like your tooth… yeah… Thank you Ms. Serrano for teaching me a lot of math things. Mrs. Regalado-Yepez thanks for believing in everyone and giving us amazing life lessons. Thank you Mrs. Lopez for thinking my physic jokes are funny, I’m not sure if you remember this joke, but here it goes, A neutron walked into a bar and asked, “How much for a drink?” The bartender responds by saying, “For you no charge.” Haha. Mrs. Deleway for teaching us about wait for it... the Mongols. Ms. Brown for teaching us about science, my favorite lesson was probably about evolution. Mrs. Martin for helping me keep my grades high thanks. Mrs. Stewart for giving us a multitude of work that we will eventually use in our lives once again probably not. Mrs. Argend for doing an absolutely faboulous job of explaining the material. Thank you Mrs. Herrera for helping every student understand language arts and yes, I still listen to AC/DC. And thank you Mr. Ruiz for advancing science and trying to understand string theory/m-theory/supper symmetry, quantum mechanics, and other physics
Thank you for your post Tarkyn it was lovely that you understood so readily, The baby passed away at 16:20 our time, he did not suffered any fits thankfully, he slipped away in Sarah's arms, I promise you, I thanked God for that, however I just could not hold my emotions back, she just loved that broken baby as if it were her own, asking nothing other than the opportunity to show that baby love. I don't know if I can keep doing this, I can't have my heart broken like this and I can't watch Sarah have hers broken either, I have asked the fire and police offices not to report Sarah for climbing into the car, she was not trying to remove the baby she just wanted to let him know someone was there for him, she said he was having trouble breathing and she wanted to check his airway, once she was with him she couldn't leave him, I asked her to say she didn't understand the fireman wanted her to leave the car, innocent Sarah said she fully understood he wanted her to leave the vehicle, however the baby didn't. The manager of the office said he won't act unless he receives an official complaint. if those men put a complaint in I will not be able to contain my rage.
On behalf of the bride and groom, I would like to start off thanking everyone for coming out tonight; I know it means a lot to Andrew and Nicole, it also means a lot to me, and my family. Andrew, I would like to thank you for giving me the honor of being your best man, but more importantly, thank you for the responsibility of having to stand in front of a large group of people and deliver a speech while pretending I don’t have severe anxiety over public speaking! When Andrew and Nicole first announced their engagement, I regretfully have to say that some people out there expressed great concern. Some felt that having only gotten together 10 years ago they might be rushing things.
Okay!!! I understand what we are going through with family and our marriage is stressful. However, I am trying my hardest to be understanding, compassionate, and communicative while I get NOTHING in return. I NEED something to hold on to here. You said you tried before – one day or week does not cut it.
Valedictorian Speech Good evening fellow graduates, teachers, family members, friends, and distinguished guests. It is a tremendous honor to be the valedictorian of our graduating class. My job is to somehow be the voice of the entire graduating class, and take five minutes to say a few words on behalf of all 539 of us. Like most valedictorians, writing this speech was not an easy task for me. Not because I did not have anything to say, but because I was overwhelmed by how much I wanted to share with you all on this day. Tonight, we have one common purpose, to celebrate. We are here to congratulate, to look towards what the future holds for us, to wish each other well, and to, most importantly look back on our time spent here. So, I would like to start by saying 'well done' to my fellow graduates, who have all worked hard during the past several years to reach this milestone. I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to the graduating class for selecting me to speak here tonight. Ever since the news broke, many people, some who've I've never really met before, have come up to me and have wished me well. Perhaps this speech would be incomplete if I don’t say something to the teachers. On the behalf of my entire class, I would like to thank all my teachers: thank you. Thank you for teaching us, for leading us, for building us up as adults. I know that we have not given back to you the respect you deserve. I know that we have not told you how much we appreciate you taking time out of your schedules to help us. And I know that we have not said thank you for giving us a wonderful education. So, I hope that as I say thanks, you can forget our shortcomings and remember us for who we are and not from the mistakes we have made. ...
