We hit zero after zero at competitions, which only added to our momentum for going forward. Your knowledge of cheerleading gave us the extra edge we needed to become a great team, and we couldn’t have had the amazing season we did without you! You brought intensity when we needed it, but laughed at the silliness to keep practices fun. When Coach Sammie had to step down as our coach because of school, you were there for us one hundred percent. As someone who has had six different coaches in my eight year cheerleading career, I can one-hundred percent say that you were the best coach I have ever had. I will definitely miss the Penn Elite family next season, and will be routing you guys on at
...ces that has landed her in this coaching position. The U14AA London Lynx team was picked out of 50 players and 5 goalies, it was my first year in London and I was excited to start. I liked playing for Mitchell in the seasons past but I wanted a challenge, I wanted to go places with ringette and I knew London could do that for me. Finally after 4 tryouts I got a phone call from the coach. I had been given a spot on the team. I would hopefully follow in my sisters footsteps.
Importantly, that injury didn't stop her from becoming an instrumental part of our team in the following year and rightfully earning the "Beast" award as a sophomore for her perseverance and commitment to the game. In my opinion, the term "beast" perfectly captures her determination to fairly overcome any competitor, who is often twice her size. Perhaps more impressive is Blakely's unconditional respect for the opposing team and the game itself, which is one of the most important aspects of her character. Regardless of the outcome, Blakely is the first to shake the hands of the other team and referees and show support to her own teammates. I want to end this letter with a story that I believe perfectly captures the essence of Blakely as a competitor, leader, and teammate. Our junior season wasn't going exactly how we had planned. Towards the end of our season, our coach recognized that our morale was low, and he called for a meeting. We were told to write down how we were feeling about the team at the moment, and most of what we wrote down expressed our discouragement about the season, especially in comparison to the success of our previous two
I practically was born with a ball in my hands, and whether it was bumping the ball around the house or knocking over things that just happened to be in my path, I was always with my precious volleyball. My family is also rooted into into the sport. After my mom’s high school team at Central won the state championship, she went on to play at Southeast Missouri. She has been an inspiration to me, and at 10 years old I began to play club volleyball thanks to her. Being one of the youngest on my team, I never got much playing time, but that year of watching and learning helped me settle into a team the year
Benito Cereno Herman Melville's novella "Benito Cereno," the novella explores a moral dilemma and narrative intricacy that allows the reader to think and question who they should be sympathizing with. The intent for Melville to keep the story grey was perfectly executed in keeping an even side with all three characters, Captain Benito Cereno, Captain Amasa Delano, and the slaves that took over the ship along with Babo. Though it can be quite difficult to pick one to be sympathetic to, there is a sound argument that can be said that all three have a great deal of sympathy that the readers can sympathize with. To start with, Benito Cereno is an unfortunate man under the circumstances that he is under the burden of maintaining a professional composer
For the last year, my sports department in my high school decided to make me the Coach of sport’s team. As an athlete’s leader it was a good opportunity for me to show my leadership skills, talent, intelligence, enthusiasm, self-efficacy and conscientiousness. Being a coach of my team, I had recognized my responsibilities to motivate the team members. Give them full support and direction to attain the team’s goal. I also tried to help my team members to energize their capabilities and

Thank you for everything you have done for me. Thank you for allowing me to get a professional basketball experience when I was such a young age. You gave hope to my parents for sacrificing everything they had, so I could get a good basketball career. Even though I was doubted for being good, you were the only team to give me a chance and that has made me respect your front office greatly. I’ve learned so much from the coaches.

Good Evening everyone and thank you for joining us, as we look back on a love story that began 25 years ago. I’d also like to apologize for not being in person to deliver this. It means a lot that some of you have traveled from all over to make it here to share fond memories with us. A quote that I have heard off and on over the past couple of years comes to mind to describe the warmth in the room “To love and be loved is to feel the sun from both sides – David Viscott” Dear Mom and Dad, firstly, I hope the two of you know how much Payal and I love you.
Good evening Ladies and Gentlemen. I’m honored to be standing here and speaking to you. I'm Phyllis. In the appreciation for this opportunity, I wanted to share with you something useful that I’d discovered and it is worthy of your time!
Whenever I tried out for something and made the team and saw someone else who hadn’t, I didn’t go up to them and brag, I told them they did good and made them feel better, whether they were my friend or not. I respected the environment by putting back equipment when I took it outside or if I signed out a book, I made sure it stayed the same way as when I got it. Finally during my peer’s presentations or my teachers I always listened respectfully and intently. Please consider me for the participation award and thank you for giving me such a great year full of learning and
After each game, I deliberate about my performance by approaching coaches, players, and spectators and asking how I can better myself as a player. This includes the analysis of my passing accuracy and vision, shooting and finishing, defending, movement, skill moves, and other technical or tactical errors. I consistently use the feedback in order to establish what I lack and what to improve on, with the aim to ultimately become a better player. In addition, I also revise my attitude and communication in the game as I am the captain of the team and therefore it is my duty to ensure that each player is aware of the tactics. I always ask myself how the team can move the ball around better, and how each player can be more engaged and encouraged and openly discuss this with my coaches and teammates.
