On behalf of the bride and groom, I would like to start off thanking everyone for coming out tonight; I know it means a lot to Andrew and Nicole, it also means a lot to me, and my family. Andrew, I would like to thank you for giving me the honor of being your best man, but more importantly, thank you for the responsibility of having to stand in front of a large group of people and deliver a speech while pretending I don’t have severe anxiety over public speaking! When Andrew and Nicole first announced their engagement, I regretfully have to say that some people out there expressed great concern. Some felt that having only gotten together 10 years ago they might be rushing things. I, however, was not one of those people. I first met Andrew when Nicole started bringing him around all those years ago. For those of you who know the Rennie household, my mom and sisters do more than enough talking for all of us; so it’s a miracle Andrew and I got to know each other at all. But being teenagers at the time, we quickly found out that playing video games was not only something we had in common, but it served as the perfect excuse for the two of us to get away from all that girl talk. …show more content…
That way we could keep her busy and the sessions going. We would call out every once in awhile so she could run to the fridge and grab us a… drink. Looking back, I’m surprised she put up with us as long as she did. Especially given some of the language she heard during those times. We were pretty creative in letting 12 year olds know exactly how we felt when they ended our kill
Firstly, on behalf of the bridesmaids, I'd like to thank the groom for his kind words, and I have to say they have done an excellent job today and look absolutely wonderful.
As a best man, it is my job to keep all Daniel’s past female acquaintances at bay. I told her not to worry as the wedding is on a Friday, and I doubt they'd be allowed the day off school. So now I come to my final wedding day duty, which isn’t a duty really – it’s a real pleasure: on behalf of the bridesmaids and myself I sincerely wish you, Daniel, and your lovely wife, Kim, everlasting love and happiness! Ladies and gentlemen, to the bride and groom!
Finally, on behalf of the bride and groom I would like to thank everyone for sharing their special day, it is a true millstone - sorry milestone in their lives. On behalf of myself I wish you'd all stayed at home - as things would have been a lot easier on me. I started planning this speech about 5 months ago and I expect you all feel like I've been delivering it equally as long. But now it gives me immense pleasure (not to mention relief) to invite you to all stand and raise your glasses in a toast to John and Angie. To love, laughter and happily ever after. To John and Angie CONGRATULATIONS
On behalf of the bride and groom, I’d like to echo what I said earlier and thank everyone for sharing their special day.
I remember when I was in high school setting in the auditorium listening to a guest speaker. It was a bitter sweet feeling because I wasn't in class but I also wasn't having fun. I don't remember much; but what I can recall is this guy started to rant about how if you ever find yourself incarcerated people will forget about you. Naturally this pissed me off to the point where I made a promise to myself. And I'm sad to say that I have only kept half of that promise.
I would like to thank my parents, For all those years of love and care, For the smiles, hugs, and kisses, And the moments of happiness we share. Making sure there are never any tears in my eyes, Fixing up my life like little tailors, Celebrating my accomplishments, And picking me up after my failures.
Good evening, everyone. Today, we’re here to honour the bride and groom. As the bride’s best friend, I feel honoured to be standing here on such an important day of her life. We have been through a lot and so much together in life, and I cannot imagine being anywhere else but here on my best friend's wedding day.
When asked in class to write a letter to someone who we had not seen for sometime, you were the first person to pop into my head. I realized that I had never gotten a chance to properly thank you for all that you have done for me throughout the years. It’s incredible to think back to the very beginning of our friendship. I can only imagine the thoughts going through your head that first tennis practice when I wandered onto the court, racquet in hand, and fuzzy Ugg boots on my feet. By some sort a miracle that only you could produce, you were able to bring the “Eye of the Tiger” to the surface. Okay, maybe it was more like the “Eye of the Guinea Pig,” but it was a start at least.
Hey Tomomi, I’d first like to apologize with how slow I’m replying. I know it’s inexcusable, but I just felt like there was too much going on around me. I promise to reply faster and that I’d do my best even though my schedule is crazy. How are you doing? I’m so sad that you left Facebook because I loved seeing your posts about your wedding and the well wishes your friends are sending you.

On behalf of the bride and groom I want to thank you all for coming out today for such a special event. As the best man I would like to say a few words about my best friend Adam and his amazing wife Layla. Im Saleh, I've known Adam since the 3rd grade when we were once more interested in Harry Potter films, than we were about girls. We grew up together, did everything together, and went to college together. You are like my brother and I will always cherish and miss all the fun memories we had.
I would like to genuinely thank your family for graciously donating this scholarship. I also apologize for the delay of this letter. There is no excuse for this belatedness, but I assure you that I am in no way ungrateful. In a silly way, my lack of punctuality allows me to inform you in this letter that I will not be able to attend the awards ceremony regarding your scholarship. Again, I promise I am not taking your generosity for granted.
Have you found the “one?” Well, maybe it’s about time to get on your knee and pop the question! It’s definitely going to be one of the most important things you’d be doing in your life so make the moment worth remembering!
And, on behalf of the bridesmaids, I’d like to thank Anthony for his kind words. I certainly agree that they did a great job today.
The Pew Internet study of US teenagers found that few play alone and most join up with friends when gaming. It found that many used educational games to learn about world issues and to begin to engage with politics. The report also found that gaming had become an almost universal pastime among young Americans.
