Humorous Wedding Essay

“Ha Ha Ha, I just love having six month parties,” I said to myself.
“Thank you so much for inviting me,” the Egyptian King announced. “I would like to hold a toast, to King Xerxes, he continued.
“Thank you, thank you my friend. Now I have a great surprise! Servants, call my queen at once, and while we wait we may feast more, my voice boomed through my new palace.” The palace was just renovated and designed in my favorite color, blue.
“Sir, your wife refuses to come,” the shy servant quietly informed me.
“What, tell my congregation to meet me in my room at once!”
“What is it sir, what is the matter, said one of the top officials.”
“My wife refused to come when I asked! This my lead other women to think that they can overrule their husbands as well.” By this time I was so mad I marched up to my wife and

told her to never come back to this region again. The next week I finally came to my senses and realized I needed a new wife.
“Sally, Martha, will you bring me a parchment paper,” I said.

“Sure thing sir,” they responded in unison. Once I got the paper I wrote a new law that said every single lady must compete in a beauty contest. The beauty contest will start tomorrow because the king wants a new wife. Perfect, I love it!
“Will you please pass these papers out across my land and stamp them on every house,” I asked my top servant.
“Certainly my lord, your wish is my command,” he responded in excitement. When the papers had been passed throughout the land women started arriving. They went through beauty treatments and then, at the end of 6 months, their time came to shine.
“Ok you may have a lunch break,” I said to the man who lined all the women up for inspection. “Let’s see here, no, no, no, no, no, maybe, no, no, really, no, oh my word. I’ve found the one,” I continued out loud. “What’s your name,” I asked the pretty, no gorgeous, girl.
“Its Esther,” she said with a smooth voice.
“You will be my new queen and the whole world should know,” I exclaimed in excitement. I had a feeling that my life would be forever changed by this beautiful girl, and little did I know she certainly

would.
