Through monitoring the website designed to address the problems mentioned above an understanding of the forms of oppression and discrimination will be discussed as well as the methods used to advocate in these areas. Through monitoring the website my knowledge of social, economic, and human rights issues has enhanced and aids in the conversation that I have with my field instructor throughout my intern. Before my internship, I was not aware of the existence of the Human Rights Watch website. The site was “created in 1978, is a nonprofit organization, employees about 600 people worldwide, which consist of attorneys, reporters, and scholars. Another advantage is the website is available in various languages”. Moreover, the mission statement of the developers state 's,“ Human Rights Watch defends the rights of people worldwide. We scrupulously investigate abuses, expose the facts widely, and pressure those with power to respect rights and secure justice. Human Rights Watch is an independent, international organization that works as part of a vibrant movement to uphold human dignity and advance the cause of human rights for all”. The case also underscores the importance of being able to hold our elected official accountable for their actions through our voting process here in the United States of America; Furthermore, the Constitution is structured in a way that no branch of government or elected official has sole control of the people or the countries affairs. The determination of the victims, survivors, and the judicial system in the case is commendable because to fight for the just treatment of people in an unjust political system takes determination, patience, and courage. The political process in Chad is run much different than our government here in the U.S. In the case of the ex- dictator power and prestige was not enough to stop the citizen of the country and the judicial system from working together to hold the dictator accountable for his deplorable actions.

Many are subjected to sexual abuse, including rape.” As revealed, the children involved in this injustice, are ordinarily being forced to be mistreated. This supports the claim that when groups come together they can help those involved, as with the help of public backlash on this issue, they can help the children involved get out of these situations. Accordingly from “The Charge: Genocide” By Lydia Polgreen, “.Sudan's President, Omar Hassan al-Bashir, could face arrest on charges of genocide—the systematic destruction of a racial or cultural group—as well as war crimes and crimes against humanity committed in Darfur. In July, the prosecutor at the International Criminal Court (I.C.C.) ruled that the U.S. government was a "separate country." ), based in The Hague, the Netherlands, formally requested an arrest warrant for Bashir.”
Every day, people are denied basic necessary human rights. One well known event that striped millions of these rights was the Holocaust, recounted in Elie Wiesel’s memoir, Night. As a result of the atrocities that occur all around the world, organizations have published declarations such as the United Nation’s Declaration of Human Rights. It is vital that the entitlement to all rights and freedoms without distinction of any kind, freedom of thought and religion, and the right to a standard of living adequate for health and well-being of themselves be guaranteed to everyone, as these three rights are crucial to the survival of all people and their identity.
The article of court wont intervene in Ga execution shows something similar to what happened in the story like in here there's been many cases were people who have mental problems and do stuff with out meaning it still get executed and they don not forgive them . The issue of human rights has arisen only in the post-cold war whereby it was addressed by an international institution that is the United Nation. In the United Nation’s preamble stated that human rights are given to all humans and that there is equality for everyone. There will not be any sovereign states to diminish its people from taking these rights. The globalization of capitalism after the Cold War makes the issue of human rights seems admirable as there were sufferings in other parts of the world. This is because it is perceived that the western states are the champion of democracy which therefore provides a perfect body to carry out human rights activities. Such human sufferings occur in a sovereign state humanitarian intervention led by the international institution will be carried out to end the menace.

The human rights organization, which is named after the Latin motto “to see is to believe,” works to protect the rights and dignities of all who are oppressed under highly authoritarian regimes. Videre trains and equips local activities by providing the proper strategies, tools, and training to document their realities. Human rights have been a longstanding and important issue that the UN has been addressing since its inception. One particular country of unrest is Serbia, where history has led to some unpleasant political situations and, as a result, severe human rights issue have arisen. Serbia – landlocked between Bosnia and Herzegovina on the West and Romania on the East – is a historically complex and very new country. Serbia only became separate from Moldova and Kosovo as recently as 2006 and 2008 respectively. Constant political distress has proven difficult to maintain an appropriate human rights code without high degrees of exploitation, especially during the breakup of Yugoslavia. It is the various human rights issues in Serbia that will be examined in this paper, looking to the UN for support and to head in the right direction.

(“Many rights, some wrong,” 2007) Amnesty International cannot fight all of the battles of the world on its own. There are too many individuals needing assistance, and too many causes needing support. They will need to decide which battles to fight, and which can wait for another day or another
