Ciao Matcha
Alka-Seltzer is made up of baking soda, aspirin, and citric acid which gives the tablet the fizz when dropped in any temperature water. “Alka-Seltzer is a medication that works as a pain reliever and an antacid. (Antacids help neutralize stomach acidity, which can cause heartburn.)” (Science Buddies, Carbonation Countdown: The Effect of Temperature on Reaction Time). To take the Alka-Seltzer tablet you have to dissolve it in water causing a chemical reaction to form and the whole solution begins to fizz. The fizz occurs since when you drop the tablet in the water the baking soda and the citric acid react causing the water to fizz also “sodium bicarbonate splits apart to form sodium and bicarbonate ions” (Science Buddies, Carbonation Countdown: The Effect of Temperature on Reaction Time). When the Alka-Seltzer is dropped in the water then a chemical reaction forms allowing the Alka-Seltzer to dissolve. Temperature is related to this experiment because the temperature affects how fast the hydrogen ions react with the bicarbonate ions and as the temperature increases the movement of the molecules increases in speed and vice versa (Science Buddies, Carbonation Countdown: The Effect of Temperature on Reaction Time).
Purpose: To identify the mystery powder based on its physical and chemical properties, comparing them to the five substances and which one matches. The chemical reactions with water, universal indicator, vinegar and Iodine solution are then analyzed and matched with each other to determine the mystery powder.
...ease the speed to medium. Slowly add the remaining sugar to the egg whites and continue to mix.

The concentration of Milk Ø The volume of Rennin Ø The volume of Milk Ø The temperature of the reaction Ø Agitation The factor I have chosen to explore is the concentration of Rennin because I believe that varying the temperature of the reaction is very hard to control and therefore may be inaccurate and agitation is a very simple investigation.
Third, grab the left edge of the Kool-Aid packet between your thumb and index finger. With your other hand, begin peeling the upper-left corner until the entire top of the envelope is removed. Next, dump the contents of the envelope into the pitcher. Notice how the powder floats before settling on the bottom of the pitcher. Then, take the measuring cup and scoop two cups of sugar into the pitcher as well. At this point, adding the water is a crucial step. Place the pitcher under the water faucet and slowly turn on the cold water. If the water is turned on too quickly, powder will fly all over when the initial gusts of water hit. After the pitcher is filled within two inches of the top, turn the water off and get prepared to stir. With the wooden spoon submersed three-quarters of the way in the liquid, vigorously stir in a clockwise motion until all of the powder is dissolved.
Alka Seltzer, a form of aspirin in tablets, fizzes in water due to the bicarbonate and hydrogen reacting, creating carbon dioxide to create fizzy water. It is made of aspirin, citric acid, and sodium bicarbonate. Alka Seltzer does not occur in nature, and can be purchased at pharmacies around the world. Alka Seltzer claims to relieve minor pain, heartburn, and headaches.

While tea is said to be healthier, it is the second most consumed morning beverage. Why is that? On an average day, only one in five American adults drink tea. The average tea drinker takes in more than twenty times more flavonoid antioxidants per day than non-tea drinkers. So those non-tea drinkers are missing out on their daily helping of flavonoid. Caffeine in tea isn't as much of an issue as it is in coffee.
The more complex cappuccino and latte are harder to master. The more elements involved, the more likely different elements can go wrong. With the spate of chi-chi coffee houses and euro-restaurants, lattes are more popular than ever in the U.S. Every coffee shop and restaurant thinks it can serve a latte. I've even seen coffee stands in drugstores. Unfortunately, these sources rarely have coffee worth drinking.
