This year I made a personal reflection for what I wanted to accomplish this school year. I have accomplished somethings this school year but I also didn’t accomplish some of the things I wanted to accomplish this year. This school year I did accomplish my sports performance, and I also improved my grades from last year to this year. What I didn’t improve was my attendance I missed a lot of hours and days due to my orthodontist appointments. This year I have had the goal to be better at sports and keep improving. I have accomplished this goal this year because I worked really hard, never gave up, and kept a good attitude when a lot of people couldn’t. The evidence in this paragraph strengthens my argument because it showed what I couldn’t do
It was the fourth year of my school carrier. In other words, the year of truth if I would make the cut to the higher education track. I was nervous because I knew that I would be capable of going this route, but I the feeling of concern was stronger because I haven’t had performed very well in my fourth year so far. At the end of the school year, I received the shocking news that I didn’t make the cut to go to the school which would have had allowed me to go to University later on in my life. I was sad, disappoint in myself, and lost self-esteem in my educational abilities. At this time, I was more embarrassed then able to realize the real benefit of a system which early on tracks children’s
There are various models of YRS that can be implemented, all of which are reconfigurations of the traditional, nine-month calendar. In some areas these models are known as alternative or modified calendars (Shields & Oberg, 2000) and they all have unique characteristics. Because of theses differences, school systems should spend some time analyzing which model will be best for their particular school; educators may find that some models work better than others depending on the school. Estimates on the exact number of year round schedules vary, although it has been estimated that at least 50 different scheduling patterns exist (Palmer & Bemis, 1999). The most common alternatives include the single track calendar and the multi-track calendar.
My Senior year in High School has officially begun, only one more year at Corona High. I know that Senior year is supposed to be fun, but I believe every year is an opportunity to improve. I have already set my goals for this school year. I believe I can achieve a GPA of 4.0 or above. However, there are some personal goals that I need to complete first. I need to stop my terrible habit of procrastinating. Another goal of mine is to pass my AP tests so I can earn college credit. I also want to learn new things, so I started to learn the basics of Coding, now I need to finish this course. These are some things I look to accomplish this year.
I must also acknowledge my role in my transcript’s substandard showing. As my SAT and ACT scores indicate, I have the potential to achieve success in any field chosen. However, I have procrastinated and failed to apply myself to my studies. This year I have made and earnest effort to improve my work ethic. My grade point average is rising and my study habits are improving. I know that I can continue with this improvement.
Schools in Colorado, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York and Tennessee have started using the method of a balanced school year. That will change there how the school calendar is formatted where there will be longer breaks more often in the school year. With some case have been considered to be harmful to the student learning.
The main goal for this self-reflection essay was to analyze the impact that these past six months had in my personal and professional life. I started by looking at the original goals I formulated when I started the semester in January and then I proceeded to weight how the experiences and the new acquired knowledge helped me reach those objectives.
What do you think about going to school year round with little breaks here and there, but not your traditional three month summer break? Year round schooling has been a decision argued with the government, teachers, principals and parents. Many kids and adults like to relax on their three month break. Many students are used to having two week winter break, one week spring break, and three months of summer break. Overall, one three month break would benefit than having three-week breaks broken up throughout the school year.
Could you even think about teaching year round? I know crazy right yet so many schools are doing it it's ridiculous. not only that but the way they treat teachers is crazy. We have all had that we loved to be in her class. Imagine her not being able to have any time to relax, her job getting harder, and being worked harder for less money. Terrible right well that is what year round schools are doing to innocent teachers.
Do you ever sit and ponder what you want your life to look like in the future. Have you set new goals? Do you want to set goals? Have you reflected on the past year and thought about the things that worked out, the things that didn't and what you'd like to do with your life going forward?

My fears are all dark and brooding and also consist
Looking through my past submissions and pieces of work throughout this past semester, I have made many realizations in regards to my progress as an English student. Through re-reading my writing, and reviewing the feedback I have received on my writing, I can recognize my growth as an English student. In addition to realizing my growth, I am also able to see a lot of areas that still need work. This past semester I have faced many challenges, I have pushed myself to go outside of my comfort zone, and I have excelled in several areas. After analyzing my past works from this semester, I have identified many re-occurring strengths and weaknesses from each unit, as well as challenges and goal assessments for myself in the future.
As the year 2014 came to an end, I was at a point in my “coming of age” where I decided to make a life changing decision for myself. I had several friendships and relationships that were tested by hardships of trust and communication. With the chance to start fresh with a whole year and a whole new semester ahead of me at school, I decided to make a New Year’s Resolution that I would stick with. I’m not talking about a work
Writing a reflection and a summary of dozens of experiences is very challenging and demanding. I cannot count how many ups I had, yet I cannot deny the fact that I had some downs where I could transform them to ups. The year was full of challenges, excitement, fear and lessons. Each Wednesday I had mixed emotions. Every time I came to school I had the same fear and heartbreaks. In my reflection I am willing to compare between Adan at the beginning of the year and new Adan I became.
