Donald trump should build the wall so illegals will stop coming in and stealing our jobs. My first reason as to why Donald Trump should build a wall is because too many people come in and they're illegal and they sneak in when they shouldn’t be here. Another reason as to why I believe there needs to be a wall is because most americans that were born in the U.S have no jobs because every illegal that decided to hop the border wants the steal every job available. And for my last reason as to why Donald Trump should build a wall is because the illegals who come in tend to deal drugs for money and kill innocent people. So in conclusion that is why I believe Donald Trump should build the wall and keep the U.S safe.
My first reason why it was not worth the costs is the wall actually did not keep people out. It was not very protective. The wall affected so many things. It affected life styles, people's daily routine. It also affected families. (Doc. E). The wall was not one big long wall. It stretched three hundred miles to the west and there was a watchtower beyond the wall end. But there were still places that were not protected by the wall. The Xiongnu could just walk around the wall and them come in and invade. People may think that they are fine because the wall is protecting them but they need to be aware that there are spots that are not protected by the wall. They would spend so much money on this wall to protect people when it really does not protect them that well (Doc. D). One of the most important reasons is that they had to pay the Xiongnu to stay out and not invade them. They paid them with Silk Thread and Silk Fabric. The amount they gave them from the year 51 BCE to one BCE they almost tripled the amount! It increased a lot. If they had to pay them to stay out them that proves that the Great Wall does not work.
Personally I completely agree no border should make people feel like they can’t go some place to live a good life. No border should separate families and break relationships. No border should determine how hard you can work or what you are capable of. Most importantly no border should make you feel like you are less than other people. It’s true we aren’t all exactly the same and there are things that make is different, but inequality needs to come to an
The border wall debate has become one of the most significant talking points in the United States and countries around the world. Many people believe that the wall is unnecessary and many think that it is necessary. Building a border wall may cost billions of dollars, but it might be able to save the country money as well. Some positive impacts of a border wall are for example a decline in apprehension rates, creating a safer America and putting a damper on the flow of illegal drugs. As well as the positive impacts, we will look at the negative implications as well. Some of these are that the symbolism, cost, effect of diversity, environmental impact and the higher death impact.
One of the most important aspects of a presidential nominee is the candidate political ideology, and how that candidate transforms their ideology into vision with specific agenda that they can convince voters of. When we look at Donald Trump’s official campaign site we see seven position or stances on an issues that trump has chosen to center his campaign around was one of the main issues Trump addressed in every stump speech he gave during the primary. The first one listed is a step by step process in which he will build a giant wall between the border of the United States, and Mexico will pay for this far. Trump feels so confidently that this will happen he has even mapped it out day by day after he takes office of presidency stating, “On day 2 Mexico will immediately protest. They receive approximately $24 billion a year in remittances from Mexican nationals working in the United States. The majority of that amount comes from illegal aliens. It serves as de facto welfare for poor families in Mexico. There is no significant social safety net provided by the state in Mexico. On day 3 tell Mexico that if the Mexican government will contribute the
While tangible reasons exists for the need to cut on undocumented immigration, the benefits that illegal immigrants bring to the U.S economy still surpass the arguments against providing undocumented immigrants with legal status. The undocumented immigrants are found in all sectors of the U.S economy and their input needs to be recognized by providing them with legal status to work and improve the economy. They in fact, add circulation to the economy and many benefits that most of american-borns don’t see.
In a like manner, it’s helpful to turn the water off before replacing a busted pipe. With this intention, the Department of Homeland Security should implement techniques that would give them a sense of situational awareness concerning illegal activity around the border (H.R. 15). Further, this would continue to aid in the oversight of immigration even once the incorporation of immigrates into American society has been restored. In addition, borders and ports should utilize an accurate entry-exit system to restrict access to unauthorized people trying to enter the country (H.R. 15). Moreover, the system’s strict admittance procedure would further diminish the likelihood of a domestic terrorist
In the words of Ronald Regan “A nation that cannot control its borders is not a nation.” Many feel that illegal immigration is a growing concern for our nation, and securing our borders is most so that we can protect our homeland and preserving our freedom. They say these Illegals take jobs and deny opportunities for American citizens who have made worked hard to gain citizenship in a legal way.

However, not everyone that travels into Texas and into the US crosses in hopes of establishing themselves here. A large part of them actually flee their homes in order to escape the violence that has erupted within their countries.(Source 5) As long as the violence continues in Mexico and Central America, people will continue to flee to the Texas. Bigger border walls will not be able to stop this. However, ending the drug war will. It will also undoubtedly decrease the amount of drugs that enter into our country as well.
Many americans claim that illegal immigrants come into the u.s and take their jobs. In 2012 8.5 million jobs were taken by immigrants. (Passel, Jeffrey S. and D'Vera Cohn, Federation for American Immigration reform,p.2)Yes, many immigrants have jobs in the U.S but most of these jobs are all minimum wage. Facts actually show the types of jobs immigrants are taking. Most illegal immigrants work in hard, awful environment factories. They work extra hours just to have enough money to get by. People are mad at the fact that they have jobs here but truth is they wouldn't take those jobs anyways. If all immigrants workers leave, who would do these j...
“They 're bringing drugs, they 're bringing crime,” He is addressing that all the Mexicans are drug dealers and killers that’s not true. He cannot be stating all the Mexicans because not all of them are drug dealers or killers. “I will build a great, great wall on our southern border and I will make Mexico pay for that wall,” If he wants to make a big wall so any Mexicans can enter and make them pay for it that’s just stupid Trump is the one that wants the one he should be the one paying for something he wants. This wall is not going to stop Mexicans from coming to the U.S; they can still come in a plane of by sea. He says he wants to built a wall, than if he is paying where will he get all that money just to make stupid wall, the U.S has no loose money to give out to put the wall up.
The United States and Mexican border has been the focus of an abundant amount of controversy the past decade in the States. The border wall, or border fence, is one of several barriers preventing illegal Mexican and South American immigrants from entering the United States. However, as statistics prove, immigration and drug smuggling has been on the rise the past few decades and our “three prong approach” is not confronting the escalating issue at hand. America’s border security is not resilient enough to deter these illegal immigrants and drug smugglers; our border wall must be fortified immediately.
As of today there has been a major problem with immigration and the people who are supposed to be taking care of it have been doing nothing about it. Most recently president elect Donald Trump has not had the best of luck with Mexico. He and his supporters wish to build a border wall between Mexico and the United States. This has angered many people throughout the country and in Mexico, there are different views on the border wall, many are in favor of not building one since it would complicate the relationship with Mexico and the United States. A border wall should not be put into place between the U.S. and Mexico. Since the wall will be built for immigrants, they are outraged that Trump’s vision of immigrants is so horrible, immigrants are not the only ones outraged. Many others find Donald Trump’s views irrational are racist.
Wall or no wall? That is a simplistic question on the topic of immigration. According to the ACS, more than 11.4 million immigrants from Mexico alone reside in the United States as of 2014. Since then that number has grown substantially, but is that such a bad thing? Many people say that immigration is harming the United States as well as its economy. On the other hand, I believe that immigration benefits the country for several reasons. Immigration economically benefits America, our economy would collapse if all of immigrants left, and freedom is a fundamental liberty to all human beings. Those are just a few reason that immigration is a positive thing. Immigrants who are in America economically
However, poor planning resulted in the funding for only one section of the wall. This wall is one foot long, but fifty feet high. Many have questioned whether Trumps plan was a poorly thought out, but legitimate immigration plan, or if he was “compensating for something.” While the answer is unclear, many Trump supporters have stated that “the wall is more of a symbol than anything else. He said he would build a big wall, and that is exactly what he did.
