Amelia Earhart was one of the most bravest women I know , but her childhood made her

the brave women we have know. However, just because Amelia was brave, it doesn't mean that

in her past it was always all happy. For example her parents got a divorce. The early part of

Amelia Earhart ' s was exciting for her as a child. She had a loving family, many childhood

events, and education.

Amelia loved all her family. Amelia Earhart was born on July 24 , 1897. She was born at

her mother ' s house in Atchison, Kansas. Where she lived for most of her childhood. Her parents

were Amy Otis and Edwin Earhart and had a sister named Muriel. Her mother was of high class

got a divorce in 1915. Edwin and Amy Earhart got a divorce because Edwin was an alcoholic

and couldn' t find a steady job, this caused the both to argue a lot. When they decided to get a

divorce it caused Amelia and her sister to move Chicago with their mom. Amelia went to her

first ST. Louis World Fair was around. That caused her to be really into mechanics , because

when she got home her and her uncle made their own ride. Her childhood was always a huge part

part her future.

Amelia tried to go to many different schools. In 1916 , Amelia was going to Ogonztz

School in Pennsylvainna. She was elected President of her class. The only thing was she didn't

really like her head of school, because she was strict. Later, Amelia grew to like her. In 1919, she

enrolled in Medical School at Columbia Universty. Shortly after she dropped out to be home .

She got really homesick and missed her mother and her sister. Going to many schools made her

very smart.

Amelia's braveness is what caused her to go into finally making history in her life.In the

future for her, she and to be extra brave for being the first women to fly across the world,
