Michael Jordan has changed the game of basketball forever. Michael Jordan is a retired NBA player. In my opinion I’m pretty sure everyone knows of him, because he changed the game of basketball. So many people look up to him and that should be everyone. Michael Jordan’s jump shot and affected everyone’s jump shot and Kobe Bryant even admitted he copied Michael Jordan. Michael Jordan played for the Chicago Bulls and the Washington Wizards. Michael Jordan had all the confidence in the world, when he played he was unstoppable, no one could guard him. Michael Jordan would average 30.12 points per game, the highest in NBA history. Michael Jordan also retired twice, he retired once to play baseball which he wasn’t very good at but was in the pros.

As the 1989 season approached the Bulls had plenty of players to help Michael on the court. The Bulls would lose in the second round of the playoffs, though to an eastern powerhouse in the Detroit Pistons. As for the next three seasons, the Bulls would lose to the Pistons in the playoffs. The pistons had a great plan to keep Michael from being a terror on the court by something called the “Jordan Rules.” The Jordan Rules invented by the Pistons meant to rough him up or play him tough.
