Italy, Spain, and Greece are all located on Mediterranean Europe, but in different regions of Mediterranean. Since they are in the same region of Europe, their climates are almost nearly the same. As for their fruit, they had their own unique fruits as they are in different regions of Mediterranean. They may have some same kinds of fruits with each other. How these two, climate and fruit, connected with each other? Some people said that only the landforms can change the climate. Some people said the climates can change the food. What is the relationship between climates and fruit?
Most of the climates that Italy, Spain, and Greece have are in temperate climate group. There are many climates in this group. Mediterranean climates have hot and dry summers, and cool and wet winters. They have limited rainfall too. All of the three countries have this kind of climates. Oceanic climates have not hot but cool summers, and not as cool as Mediterranean climate winters. They have ample rainfall too. Italy and Spain have this kind of climates. Humid subtropical climates have hot and wet summers, and mild and dry winters. They have ample rainfall during summer time. This climates only occur in Italy.
Italy has another unique climate among these three countries, humid continental climates. This kind of climate is grouped in continental climates. Humid continental climates have hot and wet summers, and cold and dry winters. They have ample rainfall too. Spain also has another unique climates among these countries, semiarid. These climates are grouped in dry climates. Semiarid climates have extremely hot and dry summers, and mild and wet winters. They have ample rainfall during winter time.

For example, Italy produces lots of wine (make from fruits), Greece produces quite large amount of olives, while Spain produces the most fruit that I mentioned above because Spain has a suitable climates for growing fruit. So climates are very important to fruit that they might affect the fruit they grow.
