Romeo and Juliet is one of the most intriguing stories you’ll ever hear. Begging with the rival families always having conflict. Or even how Romeo is desperately in love with Rosaline, but she doesn't like him and is planning on being a nun. But during this story the one who leads everything down hill is Romeo.
Firstly how Romeo just crashes Lord.C’s party, this would cause trouble because he meets Juliet there and falls desperately in love with her. “O, then, dear saint, let lips do what hands do. They pray; grant thou, lest faith turn to despair,” (Act I, Scene V, Line 102-103). This was the first down fall in the story, by meeting Juliet. Which was bad because their families were rivals and both would try to kill each other whenever they passed each other.

“We met, we wooed and made exchange of vow, I’ll tell thee as we pass, but this I pray:That thou consent to marry us today,” (Act II, Scene III, Line 62-64). Once again by not telling their parents this would cause more conflict, because their families hated each other so much. Also how suddenly they would have to change and have to try to change each other's families, so they get along.
Lastly Romeo out of range drinking poison because he thought Juliet was dead. “Call this a lightning?—O my love, my wife! Death, that hath sucked the honey of thy breath, Hath had no power yet upon thy beauty,” (Act V, Scene III, Lines 100-102). “Here’s to my love! (drinks the poison) O true apothecary, Thy drugs are quick. Thus with a kiss I die.” (Act V, Scene III, Lines 129-131). So because he thought Juliet was dead he killed himself. Shortly after Juliet wakes up from her potion she drank and seeing Romeo dead she grabbed a dagger and stabs herself, because she couldn't live without
Romeo is in love with Rosaline at the very beginning of the story and has just found out that she has taken the vow of chastity. Meanwhile Lord Capulet has given County Paris Juliet’s hand in marriage if he can wait until she is sixteen. The Capulets have a party so that Juliet and the Count can meet and he can then woo her. When Romeo and Juliet first meet they are at the Capulet party, which Romeo sneaks into. They fall in love at first sight without realizing that they are enemies. Fate brings them together and it is fate that they are enemies.
...se he believes Juliet to dead, drinks poison to take his own life as a last resort. What Romeo is unaware of is that Juliet is very much alive, so it is very ironic when he says, “Death, that has sucked the honey of thy breath,/ Hath had no power yet upon thy beauty:/ Thou art not conquered; beauty’s ensign yet/ Is crimson in thy lips and in thy cheeks,/ And death’s pale flag is not advanced there” (V iii 101-105). This is fate in the works in the play. When Juliet sees that her love has not rescued her and rather is dead, she kills herself with a dagger found in the proximity. “O happy dagger/ This is thy sheath; there rust and let me die” (V iii 182-183).
The lack of communication between the young couple killed them. Romeo’s reaction to seeing juliet dead (not actually dead) was to kill himself. “Oh my love! My wife, death that hath sucked” (3.5.141-142) If Romeo and Juliet planned out the rescue of Juliet's body more thoroughly, Romeo would not have killed himself.
Since it was a Capulet house, Romeo was not supposed to be there. If Romeo had not gone to the party, he would have never met Juliet. Lastly, there is Mercutio who caused Romeo banishment by dying in a fight. If none of these problems had occurred, then Romeo and Juliet could have had a happy marriage.eventually.
Romeo and Juliet’s impulsive behavior is strongly influenced by their infatuation and the irresponsible encouragements of their adult figures, ultimately resulting in their tragic downfall. Despite only meeting twice, Romeo and Juliet are extremely attracted to each other, and the emotional factor motivates them to get married. They did not consider the consequences of their actions or ask their parents for their approval of the wedding, instead, they choose to get married in secret due to the grudge. The grudge creates a physical barrier between Romeo and Juliet’s communication and interactions, due to their family’s blind hatred towards each other. Despite the possibility of getting killed, Romeo is willing to cross the Capulet’s gates in hopes of catching a glimpse of
William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet is a love story based in Verona in the 1500s. Romeo and Juliet’s families have been in a feud for years, despite that they still fall in love. Romeo and Juliet hide their love from their families and this destroys them in the end. Romeo is protagonist and tragic hero in this play. He is an passionate and impulsive character that makes him perfect for his part.
A while later, Juliet wakes up from her "death" and sees Romeo dead. She would not be able to live on without her love, thus, she takes his dagger and pierces herself in the heart committing
From the text itself, you can glean all three ideas of how Romeo fell from atop his tower of happiness and love, but the prologue states crystal clear as crystal that:
In essence, most of the tragic things that happened in the play were because Romeo didn’t sit down and think calmly and thoroughly what consequences would his actions lead to. This impulsive behaviour led him to problematic and poorly made decisions, which conclude to this tragic ending
Firstly, Romeo and Juliet’s problematic marriage was a result of their impulsiveness. In Verona, the Capulet-Montague feud was infamous: even the servants loathed each other. Therefore, Romeo and Juliet knew of the consequences their marriage would entail since their families dislike each other. Yet, they still took that risk and got married. Afterwards, their secret marriage caused a big problem for Juliet. Lord Capulet was unaware of
Romeo and Juliet is a romantic love story about a young lad named Romeo who has fallen in love with Lady Juliet, but is unable to marry her because of a long-lasting family feud. The play ends in the death of both these characters and the reunion of the friendship between the families. Romeo is in love with Juliet, and this is a true, passionate love (unlike the love Paris has for her or the love Romeo had for Rosaline) that nothing can overcome, not even the hatred between their two families that is the reason for the death of their two children. Throughout the play, Shakespeare thoroughly explores the themes of both true love and false love and hatred. Without either of these themes, the play would loose its romantic touch and probably would not be as famous as it is today.
...te pilot, now at once run on / The dashing rocks thy seasick, weary bark. / Here’s to my love! / O true apothecary, / Thy drugs are quick. Thus with a kiss I die.” Romeo says that its miserable be alive while his love is dying. He takes the poison just to die, thinking Juliet’s also dead. This was the poorest choice he has ever made because if he had waited a little longer, then he would have seen that Juliet is alive. Romeo’s impulse got the best of him.
Romeo and Juliet is a story of two kids who fall in love. Not only did these young teens help each other grow and mature, so did many other factors in their lives including specific events and people. Juliet matured throughout her battles for love with Romeo and having to fight off Paris in order to be with him. Romeo had to slay Tybalt in order to avenge his friend and to keep his engagement with the young Juliet a secret. The two were influenced throughout the play, changing from impulsive children to to resolute adults.
However, Romeo did not receive word about the plan that Juliet was not actually dead. Next, he visits her in the tomb, and to be with her, he drinks poison. Juliet wakes up and sees this, then kills herself with a sword to be with
The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet written by William Shakespeare tells the story of tragic love between Romeo Montague and Juliet Capulet. These lovers were supposed to be rivals as there was a family feud among the Montagues and the Capulets. They both pursue their forbidden love for each other in marriage after meeting at a party hosted by the Capulets. Not long after, the consequences mounted and ended in both theirs and other’s demise. This timeless story includes many characters that are quite relatable, but Romeo’s character traits are quite extreme as he is comically dramatic, deathly passionate, and ironically rash.
