How Does Religion And Philosophy Affect Everyday Life

I believe that religion and philosophy affects daily life in various cultures. Some of the cultures include Hinduism, Buddhism, Chinese, and Islam. People who practice hinduism strived to be their best so that when they reincarnation they would be born into a higher caste. In Buddhism people believed they could leave the cycle of reincarnation by reaching nirvana. Later people started to convert to islam and gave up worshipping all gods except Allah. In the Chinese religion, there were three philosophies that the people believed in.
In the religion of Hinduism, people believed in something called reincarnation. It meant that people would be reborn into new bodies or forms after their current life form has passed away. These people had to follow their dharma or their religious duty. Then based on if they fulfilled their duty their karma would either be good or bad. And that would determine what caste they were born into. These people had a purpose in life. The cycle gave them hope that they could fulfill their dharma. These people were called Jains. Jains believed that if they were good to everyone and believed in nonviolence, they could leave the cycle. The people would be kind to animals, tell the truth, and learned to not be greedy. They called this ahimsa. In their daily lives, they would not hurt a single living creature. Around the 600s AD, people converted back to hinduism. After hundreds of years, around 1100 AD the indian people converted to Islam and were influenced by Muslims from the north. The people who converted, gave up worshiping any god other than Allah. At the time, many people did give up worshiping the hindu gods. They gave up hinduism
