The Course of Five Nights Night is defined as the dark hours between sunset and sunrise. Throughout the five nights, humanity’s actions grow more and more ambitious and more and more chaotic in the play, Macbeth, by William Shakespeare. Macbeth and Lady Macbeth want to pursue their path to power and riches. Unfortunately, a King and a beloved friend stand in their way. Shakespeare emphasizes the disruption of the natural order through the physical actions that take place at night. Act I contains the most significant use of the word night in the play.
