The play Macbeth is directed by William Shakespeare. Throughout the play, Macbeth goes through a lot of fear, confidence, and guilt. Macbeth was scared when Macduff and Malcolm's army had branches and Macbeth started to worry that he was going to be killed because one of the problems was that he can't be killed till the woods came to his village. Macbeth being confident was when the witches showed him three prophecies and technically saying that he can never be killed, lastly guilt was when he killed Duncan. He was starting to hallucinate things and started to go crazy having no sleep and imagining things. When they came with tree branches he tried to lock himself in the castle and started to worry when he found out they were breaking into the castle and had the tree branches so the prophecies were not true. Macbeth went through plenty of emotions throughout the play, one of them being confidence.
