Introduction: I think that Katniss’s relationships affect her in different ways but they are all important to her. The relationships that affect Katniss is her relationship with her family, her friends, and her relationship with Gale and Peeta. The first relationship that affects Katniss is her relationship with her family. This relationship is important to her because she has a very close relationship with her family. In the book, when Katniss is in the arena, she hears Prim (Katniss sister) screaming and run’s after the voice without hesitating because she thinks her sister is in trouble, even though she’s not in the arena. This evidence shows, that her relationship with her family is so important to her that would go that she would save them instantly. This relationship is important to Katniss because the friends that she has is almost like family because they make sacrifices for each other. In the book, when Finnick saves Peeta’s life Katniss sees that Finnick is a really good friend because he did that and she can’t repay him enough for doing that.
