Whether he was inspiring people with his words of wisdom or his astonishing animation creations, Walter Elias Disney is, and will always be admired by all. Walt Disney made a huge impact on the world in many ways. One of his many countless impacts was his timeless animated film. The restrictions to the usage of video and film making in the 1920’s defiantly did not stop him from advancing in the film industry. He was able to progress on to making longer more excelling videos for his viewers. Walt Disney had an imagination greater then any one could possibly imagine. But all his hard work did not come easy. Walt Disney was born in Chicago Illinois on December 5, 1901 to parents Elias Disney and Flora Call Disney. After he was born his family moved to Marceline Missouri, where Walt lived for the majority of his childhood. At an early age Walt had showed an interest in art and began creating art. In 1920 he produced and marketed his first original animated cartoons. After a few years of hard and antagonizing work, he perfected a new method for combining live-action and animation. In Kansas City, Missouri, Walt Disney met animator, Ub Iwerks and composer Carl Stalling, whom later became significant figures in his road to success. Unfortunately, the company that they had started soon was bankrupt. In august 1923, Walt Disney left Kansas City for Hollywood with nothing but a couple drawings, forty dollars to his name, and a completed animated and live-action film. Roy O. Disney, his brother, gave Walt $250. They then put all their resources together. They borrowed an additional $500, and built a camera stand in their uncle's garage. Soon, they received an order from New York for the first "Alice Comedy" featurette.
It would be very hard to not have heard about Disney because he has released so many different kinds of animations, but during the 1950’s Disney began to become less involved in the animation department, entrusting most of its operations to his main animators, the Nine Old Men, although he was always at story meetings. Instead, he started concentrating on other things. On a business trip to Chicago in the late 1940s, Disney drew sketches of his ideas for an amusement park where he envisioned his employees spending time with their children. These ideas developed into a concept for a larger enterprise which was to become Disneyland. Disney spent five years of his life developing Disneyland and created a new company, called WED Enterprises, to carry out the planning and production of the park. In March 1952 Walt Disney got permission to build Disneyland. Walt Disney was born in 1890 to a woman named Seora Isabelle Zamora. His father, Elias, met Isabelle in California that same year and the two carried on an affair that ended with the birth of Walt. Later, Elias brought the two back to Chicago, Illinois where Isabelle became a housekeeper for the Disney family. Walt was assimilated into the Disney household and treated as the biological son of Elias and Flora Disney. Isabelle was with the family for years, being passed on from the Elias and Flora household to the Walt and Lillian family years later (Eliot 152-157).

When “Steamboat Willie” came out for the first time on September 19,1928, Mickey and Minnie Mouse were born. Walt Disney Studios was a hit. Then, when the first full-length movie “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” was released in 1937 it broke all box-office records and Walt Disney Studios became well known nationwide. But that was just the beginning for Disney. He has more then fifty full-length movies out today. (DeAngelo NP) In 1955 Disneyland opened when Walt was 55 years old. He would not stop there. Before his death in 1966, he purchased the land for Disney World in Florida. Even though Walt was unable to see the happy faces on the people as they walked into Walt Disney World for the first time, he knew that he made all of us very happy.
