Everyone heard of Disney films and Disney’s amusement park, but no one really know who is behind all of that, and how did he improve the society. Walt Disney, the creator of Disney, spread animation movies to children all over the world. Through many children animated films, magical amusement park, and give children an opportunity to see their favorited animated characters come to life.

Walt Disney and his first full-length animated film, “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs,” has created a new genre of movie that brought endless laughter and happiness to many family not only in America, but worldwide also. The first feature-length animation, “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937),” paved the way for the

Disney brand of “family-oriented celluloid fantasies” targeting children as their primary audience (Darity). Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs won critical and popular acclaim and broke ground for the future of animated films. After the Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Disney created many movies with well-developed characters who exhibited a wide range of emotions and personalities. One after another, each one expanding the techniques of animation and to today Disney left his mark as a great film innovator. At the end of the 20th century, the Walt Disney Company was one of the “world’s largest entertainment conglomerates”, and it consistently ranked among “America’s top 50 corporations” (Britannica School). Altogether, Walt Disney revolutionized the entertainment industry with his vast collection of animated films, characters. Walt show his love in amination through the films he created, and left behind many characters every child ever wish to have as a friend.
Following his unimaginable success, of “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs,” Walt Disney flourishingly opened his very own amusement park, “Disney Land,” which can be considered the top of the ladder theme park. He planned and builds Disneyland, a huge amusement park that opened near Los Angeles in 1955, and before his death he had begun building a second park, “Walt Disney World, near Orlando, Florida” (Britannica School). More than 115 million people visited Disney attractions annually worldwide. Disney has always been a magical company and now Disneyland is recognize for the most magical place. The key to the success of the “Magic Kingdom” is child to be “happy tunes and carefree joy” often veils “sexist, racist, ageist, and neo-imperialist reality” (Darity). Disney’s amusement park is made with scene and characters from all the movies he ever created. Not only the movies made up a child’s childhood, but Disney now have a place for children to be happy and make all their dreams come true.
Besides his successful career, Disney accomplished something greater than creating movies or parks, he affected children of all ages to let their imagination run freely, “If you can dream it, you can do it.” Disney’s imagination and energy, his “whimsical humor,” and his gift for being attuned to the vagaries of popular taste inspired him to develop well- loved amusements for “children of all ages throughout the world” (Britannica School).Throughout his life he continuously to pursuit his dream in making characters that will impact children.

Now in almost every household in America and worldwide, not a single child is grow up without seeing a Disney movies. At the end the twentieth century, the “Walt Disney” was considered by many to be the “most influential company in the world” not only in motion pictures but in such diverse industries (Hanson). From Mickey Mouse to Froze, Disney film is recognize for their secret message to teach kids in each films they created. Not only that, Disney film is emotional for kids to understand life is not always so great, but the happy ending will paid off.

Most people know Walt Disney as a rich white man who was racist and sexist. Ironically, Mr. Disney have created many animated films, magical amusement park, and give children an opportunity to see their favorite animated characters come to life. Disney should not just be remembered as a racist millionaire but as a person who has spread the joy into many children’s

heart.
