World War Two was filled with catastrophic events. Many devastating events such as the Holocaust, the Rape of Nanking, and the dropping of the Atomic bomb occurred in World War Two. However, the dropping of the Atomic bombs was inexcusably the worst. I believe that the dropping of the Atomic bombs was unjustified because they killed many innocent people, left Japan in ruins, and the Japanese were already on the verge of surrender. After the dropping of the two Atomic bombs, Japan was left in ruins having to rebuild their two cities. At the time, the Japanese had been fighting in the war, and were in no condition to rebuild an entire city. This proves that the Empire had even admitted to surrendering, making the Atomic bomb not necessary.
