Susan B Anthony was an important American who took a stand in history fighting for her beliefs and what she thought was right. Even after her death women still fought for their right to vote and gained it through the 19th amendment. There was a time where women were once thought to be a slave to man. Women at this time period had a hard time trying to find ways to be a part of the nation and to vote. The journey to women's right was a long and hard one and Susan was well aware of that but that did not stop her. She was still willing to do it anyway, in the 1800`s when she started to campaign for women's rights in the states. She was an American who affected society by making it possible for the woman of the United States to be seen as actual real human beings. Also, she helped play a role in the development of the government in the way that we know of it today. Susan B. Anthony was born on February 15th 1820 in Adams, Massachusetts. She grew up with five siblings and was raised in the Quaker religion. The Quaker religion is about men and women being known as equals to one another. When she was a child she began to notice that boys were treated far better than the girls. She became outraged and one day after school she told her father about it. Her father then started a school on the one side of their house. It was a school where both the girls and boys were treated fairly and equally to one another. Susans accomplished a lot in her life.
