Romeo and Juliet Romeo and Juliet is a play written by William Shakespeare.This play is all about love,hatred and sacrificing. The play had many characters that played a major roles to change the events of the play. Some of them played positive and some played negative roles. In my paragraph, I will talk about three characters characteristics and how did their characteristics changed the play,Romeo,Friar Laurence and Tybalt. Romeo is one of the the main character that this play is about. The author showed Romeo as an immolated and poetic character. When he knew that Juliet is dead, he was in sorrow so he decided to sacrifice his life and suicide to die next to her. What Romed did is considered as immolation “Come with me and let us marry you quickly”(Shakespeare,Act.2,scene.5.p.42). Friar Laurence decided to marry them quickly without thinking of the consequences that might happen, he just took his decision instantly.And that was an irresponsible and unwise action to do.What was irresponsible from him that he didn’t take time to think about it he just decided to marry them without referring to anyone for an advice, arguing that this marriage would turn the hatred between the two families to love.This action is considered as an irresponsibility because he decided so quickly and didn’t ask for an advice which means that he dosen't care of what will happen.For this reason the consequence of this marriage worthed a lot.Romeo and Juliet died because of the whole plan that was wrong.Not asking for advice and do what you think is right may cost a lot. Also, Friar Laurence was a supportive man. He tried his best to save and help Romeo’s and Juliet's love. After Romeo was exiled after their marriage, Friar Laurence thought of a plan for them to escape before she marry the man that her father wanted her to marry, Paris. His plan was that Juliet should tell her father that she will marry Paris,and Friar Laurence will he gave her a bottle of liquid to drink alone.The mixture in the bottle will run through her body to make her cold and sleepy so when Paris will wake her he will think that she is dead.Then she will be put in the tomb, and when everyone will leave Friar Laurence and Romeo will come to take her.But Friar Laurence should write a message to Romeo telling him the plan.
