Jimi Hendrix, a legendary guitarist from the 1960’s that revolutionized the composition of the guitar and its possibilities. An inspiration to many others and as well as myself; Hendrix has been placed in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and named the most inspirational guitarist of all time. How would Hendrix feel if he visited the hall of fame and saw how his guitar playing influenced a generation. “I know it’s a far drive, but trust in me, it’s worth the long drive to see how all your work turned out Jimi” I say, in hope that the king of guitar will be willing to ride in a car that long.
“How many miles from Phoenix is The Rock and roll Hall of Fame, and where is it anyway?” Hendrix replied.

I ask Hendrix many questions, such as, how did it feel to play at Woodstock 1969? And how what was it like to live in the era he lived in. Though one question really caught Hendrix’s attention. Hendrix seemed amazed when I asked if he knew his impact on music, and many guitarists of many generations.
“Do you understand the impact of your music and the magnitude of influence that you had for many?” I said excitedly hoping for a reply.

After our first conversation, I had learned more about Hendrix, his journey, and what inspired him to play the guitar.
