many different forms of music and even made his own kind of music when he combined country and blues. Elvis also sung gospel and hawaiian music for a time. However Elvis is best known for his rock albums thus the title the king of rock and roll. Elvis was born on January 8, 1935 in Tupelo, Mississippi. When Elvis was older he spent most of his time in Memphis, Tennessee. unfortunately Elvis was highly addicted to drugs which cut his life short.
Elvis had many influences growing up. He went to church every Sunday and grew to like gospel because of it. He was also a fan of country and blues. Elvis one day when he was in high school he heard R&B which was considered a music for black people.
