Being kind is really important because it helps with people problems. Helping people can make them happy and they could end up helping you as well. Kindness is important because it helps with people's different kinds of problems. Say you see a homeless person and you give him/her money. There's a chance that person gave them enough money to eat some food. Being king in general could make someone's day a little better. If your being kind to someone they could end up really happy. King was arguably the most important voice of the Civil Rights Movement , which worked for equal rights of all. He used nonviolent resistance to overcome justice, and fought to end segregation laws. He also done all he could to make people realise that all men are created equally. These remarkable outcomes emanated from the actions of Rosa parkes. It’s incredible that a single human being inspired some of the greatest people, and achievements in Civil rights history.
Kindness can really make a difference in a person's attitude. In “A Christmas Carol”, the Cratchits and Scrooge's nephew Fred show kindness to Scrooge, even though Scrooge showed quite the opposite to them. Or in “Thank you M’am”, when Ms. Jones makes Roger food and gives him money to buy his shoes, instead of reporting him to the police. Even in “Little Things Are Big”, when Jesus decides to help people even if he has to face prejudism. These stories all show turning points, and these examples show

Overall Martin Luther King Jr. was the best civil rights spokesman of his time and made a big impact on the civil rights movement. Helen Keller learned to speak and with her voice she changed the life of many people. Helen Keller did her best to change her life and make it better and others like her using the voice she had. Helen made a life for herself and showed others she can do what other people can do even though she has disabilities.(Hickok 115) Helen proved to all the people that didn't believe in her that she
King’s ethic of love was based on of his Christian beliefs and the epitomes of Ghandi. Luke chapter 6:27-36 of the Holy Bible states: "But I tell you who hear me: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. If someone strikes you on one cheek, turn to him the other also. If someone takes your cloak, do not stop him from taking your tunic. Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back. Do to others as you would have them do to you." Dr. King utilized the teachings of the Holy Bible during segregation to strengthen and alleviate the struggle. Therefore, throughout his leadership, he taught all those who supported his argument to "love their enemies". By giving this love to their o...
Not only did King feel it was necessary to preach nonviolence in order to achieve equality among all Americans, he also felt it was important for his message to appeal to all people regardless of race. Despite of the injustice being inflicted upon them by the segregationists, King felt it was important for African Americans to love and respect people of all races.
“Sometimes it 's easy to walk by because we know we can 't change someone 's whole life in a single afternoon. But what we fail to realize it that simple kindness can go a long way toward encouraging someone who is stuck in a desolate place.” ~ Mike Yankoski
The virtue of kindness is not meek it is not niceness. Kindness holds firm to its foundation and values, but it does it in a way that is gentle. Kindness is not naïve, it is wise and discerning (Corey, 211). People confuse being nice as kindness because on the outside both are soft. The inside is what shows the difference. Niceness has no substance, it will go wherever society takes it. Kindness is different, it has a firm, solid center (Corey xv). The components of soft edges and firm centers make kindness warm and inviting and yet it remains deeply rooted to its core beliefs.
In the story Beowulf, noble warriors and kings proved their worth by dying for those they love. Beowulf, king of the Geats, and Jesus, king of the Jews, both understood the importance of sacrificing their lives for their people. A good king is a person who holds their citizens as their top priority—they promise to do whatever it takes to protect their people, even if that means fighting and dying alongside them. Beowulf was a very loyal and brave king who always looked out for the good of his people, just as Jesus did for the Jews. Beowulf can be portrayed as a good king because he always put his people first, and even though the results of some situations did not turn out in the favor of the people, he had good intentions.
I believe in kindness. I believe that kindness is the golden chain by which society is bound. I believe that kindness is one of the most crucial virtues because it is an important basis in everyday life. I believe that kindness has the power to change lives and moods. I believe I should always hold kindness close to my heart.
Many people help just by the influence of social or personal norms. The social responsibility norm is an unwritten rule in society that people should help others in the need of help even if doing so is costly. We learn altruistic behaviour trough observing our social environment. Social norms are adapted to us by our role models. We watch others’ behaviour, and that’s how we learn particular types of social behaviour. We learn empathy and kindness during childhood development, which are taught to us as important social values. We also learn reciprocity(mutual exchange) and social responsibility, which are key social norms in society. Although many of us wouldn’t help just because the result in helping wouldn’t be beneficial for us.
Helping someone could benefit you in a way that you may not think about. Some people go above and beyond to do something for someone else. Thoughtful acts can benefit you because you could be recognized, you’re making society a more enjoyable place to live, and you could save someone's life.
One can find caring practices in many aspects of human life. Usually parents care for their young children, and children care for their older parents, husbands and wives care for their spouses, etc. In the professional scope, usually healthcare professionals associated with care. The foundation of nursing practice is an idea of caring. “Caring is important for many reasons, but is considered crucial for quality healthcare” (Tanking, 2010, p.3). So, what does caring actually mean?
Small acts of kindness can really influence someone else's life. For example, I was once on a toll bridge and the person in front of us paid our toll for us, so we paid the toll for the car behind us. That could really help out someone who did not have enough change scraped together to pay the toll. Small acts of kindness can influence someone else's life by changing their perspectives, turning their day around if they're having a bad day, and make others want to be kinder to each other. Little by little we can spread kindness throughout the world.
15. Kindness is not just a spiritual work; it’s simply a way to feel alive, help others, those who are in need of it. An act of kindness uplifts your soul, and you understand the meaning of your life.
It could decrease suicide, violence, and improve mental health. It would help children feel more loved when teachers show it. Kindness has the power to transform any place into a safe haven. It is a universal language understood by everyone; dogs, cats, humans and even plants. Love, patience, empathy, and, politeness all contribute to the concept of kindness. Love gives others a warm feeling. Patience contributes to the self-worth of others. Empathy shows understanding. Politeness can brighten other people’s days. All of these characteristics are intertwined. One results in the other and keeps the cycle going.. Showing kindness has no negative effects on anyone! So why wouldn’t one try to show it? Some people have not yet figured out how to be kind because they need someone to show them what it is. Lead by example. Starting an act of kindness will begin an endless cycle of it. It is like a domino effect and helps to prevent evil and dislike. Finding a way to incorporate it in every action that we take could help make the world a better place. It is in fact, a very easy thing to incorporate into everyday life. You could start off by handing a homeless person a bottle of water and an apple. They will thank you, and if they don’t then be proud that you are trying to make a change in the world. In the end, it’s the little things that
