Does everyone remember the 1985 movie: Back to The Future? With lead actors: Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd playing Marty Mcfly and Dr. Emmett Brown, this movie showed us what it may be like to use a time machine and time travel. If I had the option of using a time machine to leap forward in time or back in time at any point in my life, I would jump ahead into the future. Springing forward in time would allow me to know what my life promises for me and I will know some of the problems that I will face. By knowing the problems long before I face them means that I can get prepared for them. I would gain knowledge about who my friends are, who my mentors are, and what was good and bad about those people. By going forward in time, I will also know where the world's most advanced technologies are, what the next step in transportation is, and where the biggest upcoming cities are. All of these facts can help not only me but many people who follow me on the knowledge that I have because I leaped into the future. In the words of Doc Brown from Back to The Future, “ Roads? Where we’re going, we don’t need roads.” …show more content…
We do not know what the future will hold for us, so I want to go into the future to get a sneak peak of the future. My life journey will not be perfect. I would have already accomplished a lot of things; however, I made some horrible mistakes. What does my life promise me? In the end, will I end up a “Successful” person? What can I change about myself in the present in order to rewrite my future? What if I get stuck in the future and cannot get back to the present? Well, the good part about seeing what I will be in 10 years, is the fact that I can change the outcome. If I go back in time to present day, then I will be able to change what I did not like about my future in order to get a better
“If you put your mind to it you can accomplish anything” – Robert Zemeckis. Back to the Future is an American Classic that is on the minds of people around the world with images of Doc Brown’s shiny time travelling DeLorean. In 2007, The American government acknowledged the importance of the movie Back to the Future and its relativeness to American culture by introducing it into the National Film Registry. This award officially certified the movie in being a “culturally” important work that will be preserved for all of time, there by deeming it as a significant non-traditional “cultural media” in American society.
Unfortunately life has many hurdles and roads unturned. I do not feel we should regret the mistakes we have made in our past. Or else, we may be too hesitant to make correct choices in our future.
important to me at that time and what things I could change to make my future
Back to the Future, from 1985, directed by Robert Zemeckis, is an example of classical Hollywood narrative. The story is moved along by the motivation of the main character, Marty McFly, who must return to 1985 after having accidentally escaped to 1955 on the time-travelling DeLorean and ends up accidentally altering his own timeline by intruding on his parents’ lives.
In “Back to the Future”, a famous movie direct by Robert Zemekis. Marty McFly is the main character that travels back in time to when his parents where both young. His mother is shown to be really popular, his father George McFly on the other hand is weak and he gets constantly bullied by Biff. By going back into the time Marty helped his dad to become a confident and positive role-model for him, something that he lacked in the original 1985. His father no longer gets bullied by Biff and is actually now the superior of the two.
As people grow up, they tackle their own challenges, fears begin to fester and grow inside of them. These fears have the potential to change the way people will live out their day-to-day life. Along with fears is foresight. This can aid people in the search for how to overcome, or work around their fears. Foresight can also help people picture how their fears may affect their life. Both fears and foresight have the potential to offer people life-altering choices that will help people grow. Fear and foresight can both have a large part in influencing life-altering choices, just as Nora Helmer, Florentine and a choice of my own, all illustrate.
There have been lots of great movies and great movie sequels. Some movie sequels are flops, and don’t do very well. Some movie sequels, are so amazing and are even better than the original one made. Back to the Future is one of the movies that the original and the sequel is amazing. They both have great and bad things ,and common and also they are completely different.
After Back to the Future comes Back to the Future Part II, the movie opens where the first one left off: October 26, 1985. Marty and Jennifer are just about to kiss as the revamped DeLorean flies into the driveway. Doc jumps out of the car and goes for the trash can, he grabs a banana peel and what is left in an old beer can and puts it in the Mr. Fusion. He frantically insists that Marty goes to the future with him. Doc then tell him to bring Jennifer because it concerns her too. They pull out of the driveway, Marty tells Doc there’s not enough road to reach 88 miles per hour and Doc replies, “Roads? Where were going you don’t need roads.”
What I found is that if one were to sit down, and think of their future realistically, they could certainly find an approach on life that will not cause one to regret the...
Time Travel has always struck close to the imagination of the minds. From H.G. Wells ' "The Time Machine" to blockbuster films like "Back to the Future" - for years, time travel was the stuff of science fiction and crazy-eyed mad men but as physicists approach the subject of time travel with new advances in scientific theories and equipment, the possibility of time travel has become a more legitimate field for scientific endeavours. This paper will argue the possibility of time travel and the positive effects that this discovery will bring forth to modern day society: technological advancements.
THE POWER OF THE MOMENT: The ability to stay in the present is a virtue. Most people are always living either in the past or in the future. So they are either worrying about the past, worrying about the past pains, the past results, the past failures, past relationships, past struggles, or they are ruminating about the future fears, the future impossibilities, the future achievements, future possibilities. Worrying about the past or future would not benefit you as you are putting yourself in a position of disadvantage.

As a senior in high school many students ponder the big question of life that seems to be asked by many. No that question is not where do you want to go to college, what are you doing after high school, that question would be where do you see yourself in ten years. As I reflect on my childhood I have many dreams and aspirations that I would like to accomplish within the next ten years of my life. In ten years I can see myself having many of my goal accomplished, if not accomplished, I will be working on accomplishing those goals to fulfill my life.
I don?t know what the future holds, but I know who holds the future.
There could be many things that can happen after graduation. For only god knows what it in stored for us. As if anyone can have plans for the future? But as must people know plains get kind of changed. For right now I have a plain for the next five years after graduating from high school. First off I’m going to sign up for the navy and talk to people about what I’m going to do and see what they will recommend to me. What I really want to do is be in law informant in the Navy. I will have the difficult time telling the rest of my family for I want to keep it more of a secret from my family. My parents know and my close cousins also know. I will Hopefully- that summer I have enough money to go on a cruse with Dani my best friend. So I will know what a boat feels like. I started saving for this for about a month now. Hopefully be sent off after my birthday but that more of wish not demand. The plain is that I will love the navy the first four years that I signed up for and the resign for the navy. Then stay till I’m retired and then go into something to do with a cope and by then I have all the schooling from the navy and I will be able to just go into something until I can retire from that as well. I know and realize that sometimes things don’t work out the way you want them to. I could ether end up dead before the four years end, or I hate were I am and get out after the four years that I sigh up for. If that’s the case then I will go home and try to find a man and look at collages I can go to. This is just a plain that could blow up at anytime.
