And with good reason! The sheer luxury of the property is overwhelming. The mansion has 34 beautifully decorated rooms that boast 15th through 19th century art and furnishings. While blending together harmoniously, there is nothing subtle about the elaborately carved furniture, voluminous drapes, ornate carvings, and the richly colored tiles. The intent is to convey the excesses of wealth, which it does, albeit with grace and elegance.
Resorts are expected to have hotel rooms that make their guest feel like they are at home. The Great Wolf Lodge goes “above and beyond” expectations in this area. The on-site hotel has 605 guest rooms. Each room comes with free WiFi, a private bathroom, mini refrigerator, a flat-screen television, a semi-private living area and a full size sleeper sofa ("Great Wolf Lodge"). Every room at this resort is a suite. A standard suite, with two queen size beds will sleep up to six people. This is because of the sleeper sofa that is included in every room. Not bad for a standard suite. If a standard suite is not big enough for you; no problem. The resort has four different kinds of “Theme Suites” that will sleep up to seven people. These suites include a queen or king sized bed with a “themed” area. For example, the “Kids Cabin” suite has an ...
The palace has a very large scale with many windows. The palace had around 350 living areas. The room types and sizes varied some were small attic spaces and some were large apartments. When someone was to come to the palace the room they got depended on the rank according to the King; the higher the rank the better of a room you got. The bedroom of King Louis XIV, was built on the second floor and was located in the center of the palace.

The dirty, unkept admitted patients would be only be provided a bath once a week (Bly 81) Patients had to share almost everything in the asylum such as towels, combs and even murky bath water (Bly 81). The towels would be handed from one person to the next with all different types. Women with acne would use the same towel as a woman with beautiful clear skin. Using the same comb on multiple inmates would make it very easy for the transmission of lice and other hair born mites throughout the asylum. In the bath the staff was required to wash the patients, they would be very rough as they lathered the patients up (Bly). Recalling her experience in the bath, Nellie Bly said, “I think I experienced some of the sensations of a drowning person as they dragged me, gasping, shivering and quaking, from the tub”. Water that the insane endured for the baths was ice

My room is the only place where I am most comfortable due to the way how I personally decorated it. My room fits my personality and nothing in my room distracts nor annoys me. Everything fits my preference: the size of my bed, its setting, its organization, and the low quantity of baubles scattered around the room. My room can either be clamorous or silent.
Out of all the cities in Connecticut Greenwich ranks number eight for the best place to live in the state, “Area Vibes uses data provided by the U.S. Census, Google Places, FBI Uniform Crime Reports, Council for Community and Economic Research, United States Environmental Protection Agency and the National Weather Service.” (Iannetta, G., 2016). A Brand-new facility will cost approximately $130,000 to $145,000 per room in start-up costs--or about $11 million for an average-sized location with 80 unit.” (Farrell, M., 2012). Each private room will need a hospital-capable bed, linens, a dresser, and a phone, at the minimum. The bedrooms will either be one or two bedrooms depending on the resident needs and have enough space that residents can bring their furniture with them. For the common areas of the building, we will need couches, self-lifting recliners, tables, and chairs suitable to our residents' needs. We have allocated $55,000 for furnishing the four common
47% of Marriott’s rooms are in North American Limited Service, 30% are classified as North American Full Service, and the remaining 23% of its rooms are in the international segment (Marriott, 2015). Recognizing that travelers have a range of budgetary and amenities needs, Marriott operates its properties under a variety of different brand names, 19 in total, each of which has its own “price and service points” (Marriott, 2015). Most of Marriott’s brands are at the high end of the market, which includes such widely recognized luxury brands as the Ritz-Carlton, JW Marriott, Renaissance Hotels, Bulgari Hotels, Marriott Executive Apartments, Marriott Vacation Club, Edition Hotels, Autograph Collection Hotels, Gaylord Hotels, and Marriott Hotels (Marriott, 2015). These properties often command nightly rental rates that can run several hundred dollars a night and offer a wide range of amenities well suited for both business and pleasure travelers. These properties are classified as “Full-Service.” Marriott also offers a range of “Limited-Service” brands that do not contain as many amenities and tend to be much cheaper than the Full-Service line. Examples of these properties include Courtyard, Residence Inn, SpringHill Suites, and Fairfield Inn & Suites (Marriott, 2015). Even though these properties are considered Limited-Service, they do offer considerably nicer accommodations and more amenities than other types of budget motels and hotels. In contrast to many of the other hotel brands, Marriott International does not operate any midscale, economy, or budget
The apartments at Montecito offer spacious rooms in an extremely well-maintained complex. The kitchens all have quality appliances, icemakers, and a pantry. Rooms are light and airy as each apartment has a lot of windows and there is crown molding that gives the apartments more character.
To give if the service user the choice they would like to have a wash/shower/bath and when they would to have one. Encourage them and be positive. Ask what products they would like to use and how they would like to wash, if they would prefer to wash themselves or if they would require some help. Explain how well they would feel after a wash and how it would make them feel better about themselves and perhaps more relaxed. You may suggest products they can use based on their own preferences.
The living quarters for the upper class were lavish, with everything from fireplaces to private bathrooms. A first class room was extremely large with access to the decks, and had all the comforts of home. These rooms were located on the top of the ship, each with their own personal servants.
Amenities, location, packages, rates, special offers - just a few of the many factors that are considered when choosing the functions of a hotel. I was very curious to see how different types of hotels differ in what they offer, how they offer it, and where they offer it. These services are extremely significant because they are what define a hotel. They define what type of guests they are targeting, what type of hotel they want to be perceived as, and what level of service they want to deliver to their guests. The impression of the hotel left on the guest is essential for the success of the hotel. The idea of adding amenities to keep up with competition or getting creative with services offered is not new. The Journal of Retail & Leisure Property mentioned that starting in the 1970’s, “hotels and resorts tried to gain market share from their competitors by increasing amenities in the guest rooms.” The services and amenities have always been a factor when deciding what approach to take when trying to find the most success. By comparing an average 2-3 star hotel with a 5-star hotel, I was able to gain a better understanding of the different services offered in hotels and the different expectations that certain guests have in their stay.
