On Sunday, April 13, 2014 at approximately 0600 hours, I received a call from Cpl. D. Kuszaj to respond to North Duke Street and Horton Road in reference to a serious injury crash involving a vehicle and a motorcycle. Upon arrival, I was met by Cpl. Kuszaj and Master Officer D. Frey.
Master Officer Frey informed me that a motorcyclist traveling north on North Duke Street collided into a Dodge Dakota which was traveling west on North Duke Street leaving the public vehicular area (pva) of 3804 North Duke Street BP Station.
I observed a black four-door Dodge Dakota pick-up truck with a NC registration, CEM1933, facing southeast on North Duke Street, in the middle of the road. Also in the north bound inside lane northeast of the pick-up truck was a black Honda CBR1000RR motorcycle with a NC Registration, 5D6466, facing west laying on its right side. The motorcycle front wheel was disintegrated upon impact with the vehicle. The impact caused the rider to be ejected and land north of the motorcycle.
Uniform patrol officers closed off south and northbound lanes of Duke Street, along with a few businesses pva. They used crime scene tape to secure the area. The motorcyclist was transported to Duke Hospital by Medic#1 prior to my arrival. The driver from the Dodge Dakota was still on scene. I located the driver, later identified as Mr. Rory Antonio King. I introduced myself to the driver of the pick-up truck. I asked the driver if

Preston Brooks was born in Edgefield District, South Carolina on August 5th, 1819. He graduated from South Carolina College (now known as the University of South Carolina), in 1839, and after he graduated he studied law and was admitted to the bar in 1845. Brooks also served in the Mexican-American War with the Palmetto Regiment. After he had returned from the war, Brooks fought a duel with future Texas Senator Louis T. Wigfall. In the duel, Brooks was shot in the hip, forcing him to use a walking cane for the rest of his life.

My research paper is on Dugway Proving Ground incident of 1969. The incident actually took place in March of 1968. What happened in 1969 was that President Nixon reaffirmed the “no first use, retaliate in kind” which became a national policy for the employment of chemical weapons. (Mauroni, Al, p. 33) The incident involved the killing of 6,000 sheep according to The Salt Lake Tribune. A deadly nerve agent known as VX had drifted off the reservation contaminating the sheep feeding area. The Army conducted investigations to show that they had nothing to do with the death of those sheep. At the end of the investigation it showed that they were not responsible for the incident. I am going to talk about the history of Dugway Proving Ground, and what cause the sheep to die. The people are blame the government for the death of the sheep, and the government is blaming ranchers. The government said the sheep died from the pesticides they sprayed to protect their crops.
I arrived on scene at 17:10 hours. A juvenile was standing under the carport beside a white Dodge Durango. The reporting party, Kaella D. Barners (F/B, DOB: 05/04/1977), exited the front door when she seen deputies arrive. I approached the juvenile, Katera Edwina Barners (F/B, DOB: 08/29/2000). Katera was calm and cooperative. Katera had been upset at her mother. I observed an end table on the hood of the vehicle. I asked Katera if she put it there. Katera said she threw it there in attempt to damage the vehicle.
The caller reported the truck struck a guardrail, but continued operating along the roadway, weaving in and out of the lane of travel, according to Chief Deputy Richard Haun, who said that, with the license plate number provided by the caller, a deputy executed a traffic stop of the truck along U.S. Route 62, near Township Road 359.
To the missing driver, Norman said, “Now would be the time to turn yourself in. There's still time to explain your actions.”
In the civil suit against Firefighter Johnson and the Portage Fire District, the prosecution was charged with providing evidence that negligence by both parties had contributed to the death of Ian Huffman and the attempted homicide of Olivia Duty. Prosecutors allege “Mr. Johnson was driving his personal vehicle as fast as 98 mph on State Rt. 19 on his way to the fire station in Oak Harbor just seconds before he crashed into the rear of Ms. Duty's car at Portage River South Road” (Feehan, 2012, para. 6). The posted speed limit on Portage River South Road was 55 mph at the time of the accident (Curt, 2012). The defense alleges that Firefighter Johnson was using his lights and sirens and that Ian Huffman was not wearing a seatbelt at the...
Mahoney was traveling north in the southbound lane at an extremely high amount of speed. The right front of the pickup truck hit the right front of the bus, breaking off the bus’s suspension and driving the leaf spring backward into the gas tank mounted outside the frame, just behind the front door. The spring speared the sixty-gallon tank, which had just been filled ten minutes earlier, punching a two and a half-inch hole in it. The gas tank caught fire and killed twenty-seven of the sixty-seven people on board. If the pickup had hit a few inches to the right, it would have been stopped by the bus’s frame rail instead of shearing trough sheet metal toward the fuel tank.
