Throwing a Halloween party? Why not make it a night with themes from popular horror movies? For, with such themes, one can have a variety of superstars and villains attending, while opening the door to hand out candy, and sharing an evening of horrific fun.
However, one may want to choose such themes based on whether children are going to be in attendance. Of course, if one is going to use themes from horror movies, one needs to be sure such themes are age appropriate for all those who plan on attending such a party. For, if not, one may end up spending the majority of the party calming fears rather than having a good time oneself.
As such, if children are going to be present, one may want to use movies which have a scary theme such as Jurassic Park, Jaws or Night At The Museum, while staying away from horrific ones such as Saw, or others which are bloody and quite graphic. Although, as making a costume often takes a great deal longer than buying or renting one, one may want to start making such plans as early as possible. For, unlike rental shops who often rent, then have a costume returned, costumers often work on tighter schedules when it comes to creating and delivering such products.
Still, another factor which plays a role in deciding on where to obtain such a costume may in fact be decided based on the character one chooses to reflect. For, if one is going to need a scary mask, or other accessories, most often one is going to want to shop at a local Halloween store or outlet. However, if one is looking for heavy cloth garments, or more authentic duplication of such a costume, one may want to look towards renting or buying such costumes.
