Do you know the most horrific child injustice? In my opinion it’s child abuse. Child abuse is mistreatment of a child by a parent or guardian. For example some kids are abused by neglect, beatings, and sexual molestation. Child abuse is the most horrific child injustice because little kids get injured for many different reasons. Children get abused physically. They are hit, torchured, and burned. And the parent or guardian keep this a secret because the child is too scared to tell anyone because he or she thinks they’ll be more abused. Children are treated unfairly when they are abused. As a result the children end up getting beaten for reason that weren’t such a big deal. Another type of child abuse that is unfair is verbal abuse. Verbal
The term child abuse was once as rarely heard as that of pink elephants. However rare the term has once been, it is now a term used consistently throughout the news and various other publications today. Along with the progressing decline in society's morals, has come the rapid increase of crime. One such crime is child abuse. Although child abuse is common, the act is defiling. As a result of the abuse, children who fall victim to this often need psychological treatment and counseling. Often, the child is never the same as he or she once was before. The dictionary defines child abuse as: "the physical, or emotional, or sexual mistreatment of children" (Dictionary.com). Everyday thousands of children are the victims of this abuse. The abusers range from parents, friends, total strangers, to even day-care workers.
Child abuse is something that is very apparant in the world but ids something that people find awkward to talk about. Flannery O’connors short story “The river” talks about a young boy Harry who isnt taken care of very well and has a hard life. Harry notcices the beauty of the sky, the sun and the birds flying all around in the sky.
Over one million Jewish children died during the Holocaust. They were ripped out of their homes and taken away from their families, and stripped of their childhoods. Innocent lives were caught in a war that they were not able to stop. When Adolf Hitler came to power in 1933, he promised Germany that he would improve life their by getting rid of the one race that caused the problems, the Jews. Jews, including Jewish children, were sent to concentration camps, inspected, and if approved, were sent to work. All others would have been sent to be killed. Being sent to work did not ensure survival, children would be given very little food and water, and beaten severely, which caused their death. None of the children of the Holocaust will ever forget the experience they went through, they will always remember.
Currently, there are many children whom suffer from emotional, physical, and sexual abuse in their family. Emotional abuse is the lack of interest or affection parents have towards their children. As a result of emotional abuse, children are left feeling worthless and unloved. Physical abuse refers to attacking children resulting visible bodily injuries from either being burned, pushed, punched, slapped, or whipped. Sometimes physical abuse can be extremely severe that children have broken bones, fractures, or hemorrhaging. Sexual abuse occurs when a person forces, tricks, or threatens children to have sexual contact. These acts of child abuse could prevent children from living a normal adulthood. In order to deal with such a traumatic childhood, adults abused as children should rid themselves of such burdensome, painful memories.
Child Abuse is something that children all around the world have to deal with every day. Child abuse can cause physical and mental affects on a child. “One of the most extraordinary aspects of Nazi genocide was the cold deliberate intention to kill children in numbers so great that there is no historical precedent for it.” (Lukas, 13 Kindle) About 1.5 million children were murdered by the Nazis during the Holocaust—one million being killed because they were Jews (ushmm.org) The Germans had a clearly defined goal of killing the Jewish children so that there would be no remnants of their race to reproduce, resulting in extinction. Not only were the children that were victimized in the Holocaust persecuted and murdered, but they were all stripped of their childhood. Children were not allowed to be children—they had to, for their own survival, be adults. The oppression of children because of race was a direct result of Hitler’s cruel policies and beliefs. In order to stifle the Jewish race from growing, the children were the first to be slaughtered at extermination camps (ushmm.org).
All around the world children are being abused, in the united states about 5.5 million

The abuse of a child can also be manifested in verbal and emotional forms, as well as in sexual molestation. All forms of child abuse generally result in similar emotional disorders and behavioral issues, but the major consequences of sexual abuse, such as mental or emotional scarring, promiscuity, and the tendency of former victims to become sexual abusers, cause it to be the most severely damaging form of child abuse.

A husband abuse his wife and put her to the floor, and winds up his fists to punch her. When a child sees this, their idea of women is serious harmed. They lose the respect they have naturally for women as humans, and see them as objects to abuse in different ways. In many cases, seeing physical abuse goes beyond women, as children will most likely grow up picking fights with others and resorting to violence as that was the way their parents resolved their
The biggest injustice in Master Harold and the Boys by Athol Fugard is society’s role in the mistreatment of Sam and Willie. Hally grew up shaped by the unjust system of Apartheid. When Hally was young he seemed very unfazed about the segregated world, he has very fond memories of playing in Sam and Willie’s room hiding from his parents.
